Two ways to go with it: use it in the rest of the forum repeatedly until people start getting annoyed, or we could always add it to the FAQ. :D

I'll take either:D

I did consider such a thought process, but IMO I mitigated it at least somewhat by (truthfully) adding in "service with a smile". And at least as of late, I would say since Do IV, I think the Box's clique perception is on a nice downward trend...yes, we exclusively brunched on Sunday, but there were also successful Box recruiting efforts at the Do. I know I wasn't the only one who said "stop by The Box and say hi".

In any case, I agree that the perception is still there and probably shouldn't be, but large strides have been made.

There is nothing cliqueish about us. I was welcomed openly when I came to the box. I have found the box a sense of calm and pure escapism from my life ;) Plus, I've gotten some great advice in here!!! ^

That's the same thing I am thinking of, but I may just credit those to CO and not bother with it.

The flight we are both on is on 12/31 returning 1/3 but doesnt land until 1/1 so she would get all the credit for 2010. This is after CO leaves skyteam so but Im not sure if its worth burning her once in a lifetime status match now

Does anyone happen to know if the presence of Flash on a website negatively impacts that site's ranking on Google?

Is it on the entrance page? If so, yes it affects ranking as do Flash only sites that are not marked up well.

When I get on my laptop I'll post a link that describes it more.

If flash is the only content, yes, if there is more content and alternative links; if flash is the only content and linking it needs to be properly annotated, I can't remember how this is done but there IS a way to get search engines to see flash now, in the mold of images alt text.

I don't think it is.
I am just going to credit to CO, but I registered my DL account for the 10K bonus just incase.

A couple of notes for the box:
OKC and DFW were bump city on CO today.
My situation was resolved, MX was basically giving out the wrong info over the phone claiming that DFW was open and the flight was on time. While I was diverted in OKC , the MEX-DFW flight from this morning was sent to SAT.
When I got to DFW I looked at the monitors and made a mad dash between terminals. The agent had closed the check in counter but re opened it for me and put me back on the flight. I now made it to MEX and Im waiting at the Salon VIP.
I must say that MX is way better than AM in terms of food and confort for shorter routes.
I was on a 318 and it was very comfortable and the food was delicious.
The AM lounge in the new terminal is def better though.

My crystal ball says that you look good for a bump on your first two flights. Good luck.

I love The Box. I did lurk for awhile until I felt comfortable with the entire CO forum before I posted in The Box but I have always felt welcomed. This place provides much comic relief to my life. ^

Come on -- I've seen you venture out of the B:rolleyes:X, on occasion!;)
OK...maybe not exactly to 'aid' fellow FTers, but I thought that the B:rolleyes:X was to escape the  out there!:D
