I can't ever remember flying in a middle seat until Monday when I took a voucher and the only thing they had was 10B on a 738 MSY-IAH. I took my seat luckily between two smaller people and after 5 minutes heard my name called. "Mr. Bryan please take your new seat assignment 4F." I lucked out big time :D

I've had the middle seat twice. 1987 on my first ever CO flight (phx-ewr) and then a couple of years ago I switched to an earlier bos-ewr flight. Almost used a little bag on that flight, bumpy and they couldn't control the heat so it was about 90 in the plane.

My most recent middle seat was on a 752 exit row on UA last year so I could cross 150k miles and get an extra two SWUs. I seriously was wondering whether it was worth it or not at the time.

If in the belynch scheme of things 100k miles flown is "Really, we feel sorry for you", what might 150k be?

CO would not do a same day confirmed seat for $25 for me since they do not have L fares available on the 5:45 am flight even though it is only about half full.:td::mad: I guess I'll just do everything at the airport and hope there isnt too many people that do the buy up for non elites:rolleyes:
