I brought my lunch with me to the airport today and decided to eat it out at the end of the C2 pier, watching planes land on 22 and otherwise enjoying the relative quiet of that end of the pier. I noticed that the gates out there - specifically C112 and C110 - are marked on the ground for 788 and 789 positions. Interesting to see when the planes are still 2 years out (for the 788; more for the 789). But at least ground ops is ready for them.

What's the full list? I've got all the Americas ones you have and most of the Europe ones (missing MAN and ARN). But I only have three of the Asian airports and no DXB.

I was searching for MR last night and came accross TUL-GUM for about 1200. If I could get it for more time in GUM I would have pulled the trigger. Plus when I do that I want to go over on one route (Northern or Southern) and then return the opposite way. I may end up in Paris in a few weeks. :)

A rental car has got to be cheaper than what either of those cab rides would cost you. BTR-MSY is just over an hour, and GPT-MSY is about 01:30. I think you would be looking at cab rides well in excess of $100.

Has anyone figured out the formula for airline value? All I found was that it "is calculated based on cash and the book values of the aircrafts the airline owns. "

Well to get me to Gold but I'm not too bothered with that. The main value with Elite status for me is Elite Access.

EWR or PHL. I'm always cursed, like others, because of EWR. Ok I like others I need job too but when I had a job I didn't have time to do this stuff. I need 7515 miles x2 to get to Gold.

Yeah, I don't get it either. I thought it may have something to do with gates, but that doesn't seem to be it.
