If anyone else wants to play AM-Box Edition and can get their registration done, let me know. I'm all too happy to use my tokens for The Box if we can get a good number of people...say 10 or 15 max so everyone can have their own little corner of the world?

I think you can, but do not know all of the rules yet.

Still no luck. I agree to the rules, fill out the form and click register only to be sent back to the rules. It's an endless cycle of .

LOL. Best use of  in a while, IMO.

Finally got the registration to work! It looks like they don't accept passwords with special characters (but never bother to inform people of this?). How secure...

I'm keeping a running list of interested players.

Does anyone have any suggestions on rules? I think 3 domestic hubs and 2 foreign hubs are more than enough for such a small group.

Also, is anyone opposed to less than a full world map?

sdm1130 Mar 24, 2009 7:00 pm

Nevermind.

rkkwan Mar 24, 2009 7:02 pm

I registered successfully using a Mac and Firefox.

It worked fine for me in FF earlier today and just now.

Starting point:

3x ATR-72
$700K in cash
1 free gate (10 slots) at hub of choice
4 domestic hubs, 2 foreign hubs
20-year world, starting in 1989
Cap of 15 players

Could lower the cap and basically make a full world in which no one would directly compete, or we could do geographic restrictions.

If you have less than a full world map then I won't fly with you as I demand full global coverage from my carrier, at least with partners. How else am I going to get full value of my reward redemptions?? :p

I have no desire to play, but can I sit and kvetch about how crappy the FF programs are and whatnot?

ETA: I'm palindromic now...18181.

Why don't you sign up and just lurk in the world...and use The Box as an AM version of your blog? :D

"Why is there an airline called Jersey Devil Air hubbed in LAX?"

ConciergeMike Mar 24, 2009 7:17 pm

With potentially 7 interested people, I'm going to cap the world at 15 and get it set up. Stay tuned for login details and final rules settings.

sdm1130 Mar 24, 2009 7:21 pm

I'm bleeding cash already! :D
