Congrats on that! I am guessing HNL would be a stretch. You need to ease her into this, Mike!
This is a no-go if the vendor insists on booking air thru them. The thing we have to go to is Thursday, so we'll find out then. Via BBM she just approved the appointment we have to go to. |
I got bumped off of my MOB flight. I turned the voucher into JFK-IAD, and ATL-AUS (for the BBB DO).
so my last UA mileage run looks like this: CLT-JFK-IAD-LAX-IAD-JFK-IAD-DEN-LAX-SFO-ORD-IAD-JFK-CLT. Too much??? |
I need to finally get my company up and running so I can take advantage of some of these deals!
For those who might be interested, I have started my own company that is involved in a couple ventures. Beyond the travel web sites I am going to publish, I have a legal technology venture that is kicking off: www.globaledd.com I am polishing off some details, but hope to announce it to the industry in the next week or so. |

Thanks! This is true about easing her into weird travel patterns. But, HNL puts me within a sniff (~4K) of Silver. She was complaining on this trip that she misses being in F. I could potentially leverage her want of F into an excuse to fly for status. Before the jokes fly about Silver meaning nothing, just remember: she doesn't know that. :D

Fiancee and I won a 3-day/2-night all-inclusive thing at the bridal show we went to. If I could convince her to go to SEA for 48 hours, I wonder how much of a stretch HNL would be. Most interesting of the choices are LAS, CUN, ACA, HNL, PVR, MZT, and SXM.
Congrats! |

I might see you there tonight — I'll be transiting IAH this evening. Just depends on which terminal I arrive at, as I'll be coming in from ATL and heading out to BTR, which will definitely be from B.

Silver does mean a ton. As I explained to my wife, who was on the fence about a mileage run to retain silver, it is awesome to board first (especially on international flights), not have bag fees, and sometimes have the shorter security lines. One Saturday morning we cut past an unbelievably long line to check bags and she was sold.
