Funny story. A few years ago, a friend and I were at White Castle (long story) watching through the glass window as an Indian woman made our hamburgers. As we standing there, i lean into my friend and say "Do you think she's torn? I mean, she's cooking her god right there".

I nearly got decked for making him laugh so hard. :D

You are a master storyteller, as was evidenced at Shade.

In CO business news, Martin Hand got back to me in less than 24 hours regarding CO coming back to ACY. ^ :)

You have a PM. It all depends on the dates you are looking.

I just saw that, Thank you, but unfortunately Sept, Oct and Nov will be the only time I can do this. I think I may have to just tough it out in Coach and use miles to get myself to SEA from EWR

As rolov said, Tokyo seems to be very spread out. Is it possible to stay in an area that has an entire day's worth of sites and activities? If so, what area? My guess is that it is pretty hard to avoid public transportation no matter how long you are staying (which is fine with me...).

I would say that it is hard to pick an area with enough for 1 whole day .
Harajuku and Shibuya are pretty close
Shibuya station is really cool at night with all the lights
and the streets around there are cool by foot. I really need to upload my pics .The intersection is famous and usually in movies .

Harajuku has a famous street called Takeshita , where all the crazy hair do people and funky clothing stores are.

OK, going to journey out into the blizzard to go to the grocery. Perfect day to make a big pot of chili.

Could anyone with a Marriott Rewards account please check to see if there's any availability at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef in STT for 3/28-3/29? I tried to sign up for a Marriott Rewards account online, and got a message that "You may already be a member, please contact customer care."

I just wanted to know if a room is available on points that night before I initiate a CC Thread.

This would have been pretty amusing to watch.

That's awesome.

I could type "No," and click send pretty quickly, too. :p

Also, if anyone knows the relative value of a Marriott Point to an HHonors point, that would be good to know.

Anglo Large Clawed Otter Feb 19, 2009 9:29 am

31,000!

When I first put it in, showed rooms at $602. It may have been a plat override though. Tried again and it is saying there are no rooms available. No point availability.

Thanks. Priceline it is, then. :td: to Hilton for not having a property in the V.I.

The HKG You Tube video was just on the 10 am hour of the Today Show.

I have a HKG trip planed for July with a friend that we wanted to do previously. The Ticket to Seattle is looking about $300. Not the best deal but in terms of doing this trip not bad.

I got the Hilton Tokyo for $15000 yen. I think that is a little over $160after conversion. Not bad and sounds like a good hotel.

I did find a $160 AI RT TUL-SEA in March as a two day turn MOn/Tues as I was researching rt to sea for the NRT flights. Not a good deal unless you are Gold or Plat on CO.
