I wouldn't count on being able to overnight in the Airport without having to clear customs/immigration. At a small West African airport like that, they may just close up the terminal in the evening.

Personally, I'm not certain that flying in West Africa is much safer than driving there. Websites like Slok Air's remind me more of a Nigerian Scammer email greeting than an airline website.
