Should he ask them if they know who he is?

No, as that would violate one of the cardinal rules of .

Even CLT-GIG ist kaput?

What about YYZ-LIM/BOG? Either of those are on a 763. YYZ-CCS is on an A319, but CCS-GRU is a JJ 763.

I didn't even bother with CLT-GIG. I found some options on YYZ-BOG and an option for YYZ-GRU but no return options for either within the number of days we'd like to stay. The JJ 763s don't have F, so they're out (for now) as well. I'll just have to keep searching...

I suspect it's a combo of:

1. BD reward booking; and
2. Physical Visa check for Brazil

You are not likely to find any JJ F availability this far out. Your best option is to book an alternative carrier, then switch your flights to JJ F (if possible) closer to the travel date. This will, of course, incur teh 20 Quid change fee per ticket.

I almost missed my flight to YYZ the other day because I had to be "assisted by an employee." And it was EWR, so no one wanted to assist me.

I'm certainly open to booking decent options in C if that's all I can find for now. $30/ticket is a small price to pay to change to JJ F.

You may even have to return on separate flights. Finding 2x JJ F rewards on the same flight could be a real challenge, even close-in. Accordingly, I would suggest booking each reward separately.

:( I guess I used up all of my reward luck when booking the CPT trip. I wouldn't mind doing the entire routing in C (assuming lie-flat), so I'm keeping my options open as much as possible.

Just for the heck of it, I checked CLT-GIG and it comes as no surprise that availability is wide open. Wonder why...

The JJ C seat loooks very similar to Asiana Biz and Lot Biz, the recline is not the best.

Mackieman Jul 1, 2010 8:30 am

I hate c:rolleyes:nference calls like this. Everyone is arguing about process and why this happened instead of what we're going to do about it. I'm a get it done kind of guy, and I'm about to stop listening.

Probably because US expects to cancel the flight by then. :D

On an overnight flight like that, I'd actually prefer US over CO for the angled-flat seat (I don't really like the 764 BF seats on CO). You can snag good BBQ in teh terminal at CLT, and sleep semi-decently en route to GIG. Service isn't a big issue to me on a night-flight. Cool line, too.
