Apparently DL just added Friday/Saturday night stays to low rewards for non-elites/CC holders. Oops.

Yeah, I know. I'm trying to figure out visa requirements for Togo and to see if there is a reasonable way to overnight there before i go completely crazy. Oh, and I have to figure out how to book it. That was from ITA and ET.com doesn't have COO as a departure airport.

I ran into the same issue when I was trying to book a flight into BJL. IIRC, ET owns ASky Airlines. This is who you would need to book with.

Where/What was for lunch? Beef brisket?

That's why I'm going for a flight back, especially if I cross seven airports and have a random overnight in a different country. :-:

Rudy's, as it is close to my office (and decently close for Starwood Lurker). I had brisket and pork ribs; I believe Starwood Lurker had baby back ribs, brisket, and some turkey, the vast majority of which he took to go for dinner. ^

Hello box

Sitting in LBB waiting to board CO 2154 once the plane shows up.

TSA neglected to check my ID and then asked me if my portable hard drive was an XBOX (this was after I removed it from my bag).

The food options are deplorable but at least the internets are free.
:(

^ I have not been to Rudy's yet. Then again, I don't know if there is one near me. Is it a place worth trying?

Rudy's is not the best BBQ in the world, but it is certainly not the worst. It's good, fast, and close by. I don't know that I would go out of my way to eat there, but that is only because we have better in the area (Salt Lick, Snow's, etc).

Yup, it is operated by ASKY. But ASKY doesn't have online booking. I think I'll need a real travel agent to book this one. It'll have to wait until I'm back on Tuesday. I'm also a bit put off by the $131 visa that I'd need if I choose to depart the airport at midnight when I arrive in Togo. The more I think about that the more I really need to reconsider how I'll be packing for this trip.
