Any Boxers ever driven an Opel Insignia? I've got a reservation on hold and that's the standard type for the Intermediate sized vehicle.

I rode in a brand new one in China with buick badge, it rode well. It was airport pickup.

How would I go about switching my SPG earnings preference to Starpoints insted of CO miles? CO gave me an SPG Gold promo and I'm switching allegiances and credit cards.

Covered by the generic term: meat ;) But, yes, no self-respecting cheeseburger should be seen in public without bacon on it. :)

Technically you're not supposed to switch to Starpoints with that promotion (that's how I understood it), but it never hurts to call.

You can switch, but depending upon who answers the phone, they might insist that you downgrade to Preferred or Preferred Plus, whichever is most appropriate, if you have not been part of the offer for at least a year.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9630/5.0.0.591 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Day trip to Hoy almost wrapped up; just waiting for the ferry home. A great combination of hiking and biking, plus some very cool sights.

So if I am switching to the AmEx anyway, should I just wait until I do that since the AmEx comes with SPG Gold?

To SPG. Hilton has angered me for the last time, coincidentally in the same manner as belynch...craptacular service regarding a wedding.

It's so nice outside. Wish I didn't have face-to-face meetings all afternoon as working next to an open window would be preferable.:)

The cheeseburger is quite possibly the world's most perfect food combo. It has all the food groups:

bread
meat
dairy
vegetables (up to 2 servings possible)
fat
fruit (avocado is a fruit)

Okay, so the tastiest ones are a little out of balance when it comes to servings of each food group, but convenience covers a multitude of sins. :D

Depending on the toppings, a good pizza can match the cheeseburger in terms of number of food groups covered.

That would be awesome - except that I am pretty sure we will head to EWR first thing in the morning to try to get earlier flights out. Let's try for another time!

No worries; let me know if plans change. I'll be up there for meetings again probably in August, and I'm going to see if I can arrange a hublet mini-Do for when we visit my parents in August.
