msv - saw your :( news as I was catching up. Sorry to hear you had such a bad day that destroyed any remaining hope of life not changing majorly. Good to see your ^ attitude trying to focus on the opportunities this will give you to travel.

Just got back after part 1 of my 20 year reunion. The majority of my class looks pretty good after all these years. I had not been to the Hard Rock Hotel w/ all the clubs outdoors. Very impressive. Off to bed. Good morning/night 'Box.

Ummm, what kind of BlackBerry did YOU have?!? That's my main complaint about mine - the battery life is pretty awful, ESPECIALLY if you're using Google Maps, browsing the web, or using the Bluetooth headset.
My work BlackBerry will last for days on a single charge, but I don't use it for anything other than calls and e-mail. The antenna in the phone makes a big difference too. The 2G BlackBerries, like all 2G smart phones, have much longer battery life than the 3G ones, as the 3G signal requires much more battery power. |

I took it back to the Sprint store yesterday and they went through the phone to make sure nothing was draining the battery. They also did a test on the battery and told me everything was fine and that the phone is powerful and I shouldnt expect the battery to last all day. After much thought I decided to return it since I cant always be right next to a charger. I really liked the phone and all the features but the short battery life was a deal breaker.
On an average day, with the heavy use I give my phone, I can go 6-7 hours on a single charge and actually using the device before the battery gives up. Having a backup battery lets me double that if I'm in a situation where I'm not going to be able to plug it in at all, or I'm not carrying around a cable to charge it with. |

And now, I must finish mowing. I can't tell you how enthused I am about that.

I did not mind NJ Transit, though I am uniquely unqualified to offer an opinion. It was nicer than the Los Angeles subway system, and the double decker new train cars were as nice as those I used in San Diego.
