LOL No. She and bikes don't along. Trying to dissuade her of the habit of lunging after any bike that goes by. I think she just wants to run after them and play, but annoying/dangerous none the less.

Herder instincts can be dangerous for them.

Some friends had the honor of storing two goats in their horse round pen for a day (). They have an underemployed border collie, and, when everyone left the house to see the goat-owners off (sat and had coffee, or something), they discovered the border had gone in the pen, and, as her instinct demanded she do, was moving the stray to the flock. Of course, with only two, one was always a stray, and the other the flock, so the work was continuous.

They had to enter the pen and physically drag her out, or she would have literally worked herself to collapse.

Yes, think of it not so much a losing a daughter, as an impending increase in discretionary future cash flow. ;) That's after paying down the event, of course.

I was lucky enough to have from NJ Transit tickets from 2 years ago that I have kept a hold of that were never punched! Only had to pay for one trip on the AirTrain too!! That made for a $5 trip EWR-NYP and back!!

That was great and a pretty close match except Shelby had really long legs and looked a bit more Collie than Sheltie

Morning Box.

Woke up early today, picked up iced crack, er, coffee on the way to the park with the pup. He was pooped after an hour of offleash bonding time, then it was time for the humans to go to the gym. Fixed a nice chorizo-egg-cheese scramble for breakfast. All in preparation for the hours of beer-drinking and soccer watching that we're having today!

Thanks for the linky. The boy appreciated the gratuitous boobie shots as well.

As old as it is, and politically incorrect on so many levels, I still laugh out loud at John Hughes' Sixteen Candles. A glimpse inside the quintessential wedding day activities.
