Its amazing that the homeowner is the "BAD" guy. Hope he comes out the winner in this^ I told the lady to talk to her 17 and 19 year old sons. They most likely have the answer of who did it. Her response was "Oh I never thought they might be involved"

Who rings a doorbell as they are breaking in?

The castle doctrine component is broad in Tennessee - includes perceived to be a threat and "no requirement to retreat". And if the perception is breaking into a home, it's just like being in a public setting - whether the person has access and whether the person is perceived to pose a threat. Think the precise issue will be which perp he was intending to neutralize.

Some have already joined me in boycotting the parents' businesses - I used to take all job candidates to one of their restaurants.

The newspaper reports it as "ding-dong-ditch" but then details that the perps were actually banging on windows and doors.

If you saw this at night at Antietam it might be other things:eek:

It is called ring-and-run north of the Mason-Dixon Line;)

Howdy, Box. All's well in London and Greenwich today.

Got to watch some footie with a proper pint at an outdoor cafe this afternoon and also got to straddle the Greenwich Meridian. Actually some cool museum stuff there. A full day of touring and haven't set foot on the Tube once.

I see-- the kids were stupid. Thankfully, no one was more seriously injured.

And the parents are  for suing

Let's just say given this is Tennessee, no criminal charges have been filed.

They're probably upset that they can't cash in on an insurance policy to bail them out of their businesses.

I think us uses a dart board.

Bought tickets for this next week to visit the SC here at BNA with a friend coming in and out of town. Found out one of the two reservations I made put the flight over. I hate having to see the flight go out. :)

Most burglars ring or knock first actually if its during the day. Recently I have had a case that the homeowner was home taking a nap and the guy was letting himself in the front door. When the homeowner made contact with the perp they said they were there to meet with "Bob". The homeowner then called the police and gave us a description of the vehicle as they pulled out of the driveway. As I responded I see the vehicle pulled in 10 doors down loading a computer and tv into the trunk. Heroin makes people do crazy things for the next hit.
