Thunder and wind lasted 15 min. Now the sun is out and the humidity is awful while the temp climbs into the mid 90's.

Welcome to my world.

Happy meal danger (I'm so glad I live where this isn't a problem)

Could be worse. The Middle East and West Asia are having a record heatwave right now. Baghdad was 125 degrees yesterday (an all-time high for Iraq). A few days ago, MohenjuDaro, Pakistan was 128 degrees (all-time high for Asia).

I can't imagine that kind of heat! It hit 114 when I was in the Cayman Islands and my sneakers litterly started to melt on the beach. The AC unit was turning into an ice flow in the room and the ocean temp hit 98 so it was too hot to even go in the water:eek:

Several great brew pubs downtown there. I enjoyed BOI immensely.

I'm intrigued and would enjoy nice brews after visiting the Whitman National Forest ;)

Speaking of guns. CM what do I need to do to bring guns up to NJ?

ETA: the reason I ask is because someone threw human feces on our building door yesterday and if I would have seen them they wouldn't be here to do it again.

Permits. Lots of permits. And time. And a reservoir of patience.

You have to get a hand gun permit app from your local police dept. The process can take about 6 months in some of these  towns

There are police chiefs out there who will receive a permit and just refuse to sign off on it. "This town has enough guns" is something I've heard all too frequently.

Ok, what about shotgun's and rifle's?

New Jersey Firearms ID Card. Same day purchase with no limits. The address on there must match the address on your license.

Haha. If I get my way about it, the leaving Jersey clock starts in the Fall upon starting the MSHM program.

If I had that kind of budget for a gun hobby, I'd build me a sniper rifle and do 500+ yards for fun.

Gyros rule. No white sauce; just lettuce, onion, and hot sauce...exactly how the Hockey Do participants saw me get them.

Parents - who happen to own some struggling businesses in town - are suing for $2.5 million with a court date of next week (yes, the court date is precisely five weeks - 35 days - from the event).

Can someone explain to this gentleman that shot the kid the concept of center mass?

Think the precise issue will be which perp he was intending to neutralize.

Some have already joined me in boycotting the parents' businesses - I used to take all job candidates to one of their restaurants.

I heart the castle doctrine. It'll be a cold day in hell before NJ gives its citizens the unthinkable right of self-defense.
