I was happy to get a window seat on my flight Sunday checking for weeks. It's going to be a real fight with carry-on I can see.:(

In other news, I'm exploring the possibility of becoming a dean again. The things one will do in a relationship.

Impeccable service, Blaise Mautin scents throughout the hotel, probably a courtyard room (rather than along Rue de la Pais / Place de Vendome). If you have a platinum amenity cert, this is an excellent place to use it for a food and wine amenity. Bottled evian water in the room was still free as of my last visit - the two bottles are replaced during turndown service and daily service. There's a doorbell and they offer a high level of service - turn on the "Do Not Disturb" light if you don't want to be disturbed. At check-in, you'll get to select your desired newspaper, including many U.S. / U.K. options.
Sleeping quarters range in size. Bathrooms are large and have a tub as well as a separate shower. More than sufficient dressers, storage, etc. Televisions in many rooms are outdated B&O's but watching World Cup / finding somewhere to watch World Cup wouldn't be a problem. Gym is small but serviceable, given there are few guestrooms. There are a number of places with prix fixe meals nearby. There's a small independent store on Rue des Petit Champs which sells standard groceries and wine. Use an ATM, as the rates / fees for currency conversion in this area are awful. If you were diamond, the room service breakfast is expansive - here's that breakfast for one person photo from my last visit. It's fairly easy to eat just two larger meals a day in the immediate vicinity if one wants to spend time at attractions. What else? |

The kid has bright red hair so I thought it matched rather nicely. He was wearing his pants low I guess to prove Nice'n Easy didn't have a role in that.
