You didn't know Iran Air operated LGA-CLT?

According to an earlier post, they even have Concordes. Wonders never cease.

Well my life is one step closer to being complete. The movers are on the way to my storage unit in OK to get my stuff and bring it to me in TN!! It will be nice to finally have my stuff here even if it means a crazy mess in the house for a few days!! :)

Oh well, the smell appears to be gone. I don't think I'll get my zillion miles now. :(:-:

My driveway put out more noxious odors when I did that a month ago.

When I figured out it was down in the City I listened to a live feed of the FDNY traffic and was amazed at some of the things I heard. I remember hearing the plane was a 707 at least once or twice. I posted the audio (or a transcript) of the incident in here. You have read the entire box, right?

It is interesting how one incident could have so many different variations. For the plane incident today our dispatch had about 30 calls. There were few that were anywhere close to accurate. People said the plane was crashing to being on fire. The best part was when the dispatcher called the FAA they knew nothing about it. FAA put the dispatcher on hold to make some phone calls.

damn it, I went to call an audible but it was two seconds too late.

I dont know if I want to know what you speak of!

I will say when you finally go to the airport to get on a plane for a flight, you will probably forget your bag, thinking you are going for VDBs!! :D

Off to work, Box. Have fun.

11:30(am) SEA-SLC sold out seconds before I could get a ticket.

Speaking of that, am I the only one jumps out of their seat on EVERY flight to be 100% sure that I didn't forget to put my laptop back into my laptop bag after the security check?

I mean, it is like a panic attack every flight! Man...

knowing we have a few ORD people in the BOX. If you had a friend coming to town, which Pizza place would you recommend in the Magnificant Mile area?

Also is Bistro 110 still good?

There's a few options nearby:

1) Gino's East
2) Pizano's
3) Giordano's
4) Pizzeria Uno

Of the four, I'd go with #1/2 if you want a pan pizza, #3 if you want a stuffed pizza. Uno is nothing special - it's just the original location of the Uno chain that's scattered all over the country. Gino's also has a bit more character inside - people sign the walls, etc. I haven't eaten at Pizano's personally, but it's well reviewed. Giordano's has good pizza, although it's a little more chain-like (it's a Chicago area chain).

Correct. The machine makes a continuous ribbon of cheese, which is partitioned inside the wrapper, and then the wrapper is cut.
