Just avoided the local news trying to snag me for an interview - a neighbor had a big pine tree snap 5 feet up the trunk. Fortunately, it missed his house.

CO9 made it down safe, going to get towed in.

I like sliced REAL cheese, not that american cheeselike slices stuff ;)

Heh. I like the Kraft Deli slices, though. Better American cheese than the individual wrapped stuff.

It has to work that way or you'd be trying to wrap each little slice. It's not a block of cheese, it's a long flat piece that gets cut into each Kraft single.

I get that, but I can't picture it. Like the little flap you pull and how it wraps around nice and smooth.

Ohhh, I get it. It's the other edge that gets cut, I get it now. @:-):o:rolleyes::-:

Tiger Woods just retired from TPC due to injury. This is the headline despite starting the day eight shots back.

My wife went out to get he hair done and called me on the way back and reported a low flying CO plane. I have finally put the dots together (slow  day for me I guess). When she came home I could smell the get fuel. It smells like folks are sealing their driveway.

The good news is that it's cool out and we don't have the windows open so the smell isn't getting in the house.

I am going to demand a zillion miles in compensation. :-:

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9630/5.0.0.591 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Wedding last night went until after 4am. They had to bring in a second band to keep playing. Good times.

When the US jet ditched into the Hudson I got a text notifying me of a possible MCI (I'm up the Hudson by the TZB) and original reports were very sketchy.

When I figured out it was down in the City I listened to a live feed of the FDNY traffic and was amazed at some of the things I heard. I remember hearing the plane was a 707 at least once or twice. I posted the audio (or a transcript) of the incident in here. You have read the entire box, right?

I heard someone call it an "A380 regional jet".
