All the jurisdictions are still saying the drinking water is fine but (as a FEMA responder) I do have a one-week supply.

It's amazing if there isn't any contamination with the pix I've seen. I'm glad you are prepared.^

Hah. Speaking of which -- here's the answers to that:
  • Issued a dupe BP for a seat in F and downgraded me without compensation or an apology. Their statement was "you paid for a seat in whY, that's where you flew. You have no claim." US
  • Wouldn't pick-up their phone (elite line) during a massive snow-storm on the east coast, inhibiting me from getting home for four days. US
  • Lost my luggage on a direct flight on the outbound. Returned it to me when I checked-in for the return. And then lost it on the return. LH
  • Flight went mechanical. Couldn't get me into LGA that evening and I had to be somewhere. Asked if they would endorse me over to EWR, JFK, or HPN and was told EWR and JFK flights were full and they didn't fly to HPN (they did). UA
  • Misconnected because there was no one to drive the jetway. For 50 minutes. Told me was delayed due to ATC, despite the fact we touched down at arrival airport early. DL
  • Had a passenger yell DYWIA to the gate agent when I was handed a battlefield upgrade, I should be upgraded before that person [me]. US
  • Boarded with elites and was forced to check my roll-aboard because several elites massively exceeded their personal item allowance. CO
  • Agent gave me really bad information which caused me to fly an extra 8 hours out of my way. CO
  • Gate agent called the police on myself and the passengers of a flight that was canceled. Airline coded it as weather to relieve themselves of the duty to pay for forced overnight and provide alternate transportation. Real reason for the delay was crew time-out. No one threatened or even yelled at Gate Agent, we just called them out on their flagrant lies. UA
  • Deadheading FA in uniform took my reserved "good leg-room" seat and told me to go find an open seat in back. CO
  • Airline canceled flight because of "crew issues." Reacommodated me on following day. Went to airport to change around my rental car around and found that the flight had been re-instated, and they didn't tell the passengers.US
  • Had items stolen out of luggage by baggage handler. Went to report it and agent in airport told me "it's not my problem." Dealt with corporate claims and they kept sending me "lost baggage" form which is materially different than pilfered bag form. Kept blaming internal process for the error, and that they'd file the claim properly internally. Of course they didn't. US
  • Issued press release stating they were no longer flying route I was booked on. They didn't remove the flight from their system however (just made it impossible to book) so I couldn't get re-accommodated because the flight hadn't technically canceled yet. Finally officially canceled it about a month prior when I contacted a reporter with a national publication, told them what was going on, and they placed a call to the airline for comment.

Nope; this trip was preplanned.

I think tomorrow morning I'm going to look and see if any cheap PHL-SAN is left out there...the bump from today and the voucher I got from rebooking to today from the run I had to cxl makes for $313 in credit. Why yes, I'll take SANx2 for ~$50 out of pocket.

I was a CP for a while (100k EQM's / year on US). I could fill many many pages with their horror stories.

But, I was trying to mix it up to prove my point. :-:

The only FF program I willingly let miles expire was US (scare). Before I became more travel savvy I had all kinds of awful things happen (like when I had to tell the FA the engine was on fire that I was sitting next to) and never thought about complaining to get any compensation.

I'm afraid of getting those tags.

I've cheesed off many more than I've endeared, so incognito is better for me.

Greetings from 1A on the flight of American Independence.

Breeze is absolutely perfect here. If every spring/summer evening would be like this my AC needs would never exist.:p

Awwwwwwwww, thank you. You get a gold :-:.

That Hellmann's ancho sauce is quite good, and the roasted red pepper tomato soup was excellent.

As of now, no repeat options in the F catering and everything was pretty good.

Got very little reading done thanks to three segments of free DTV. Managed to clean out my BB's address book.

Yikes. I had a similar event happen to me when our flight hit a goose (before it was fashionable to hit geese) and the engine started smokin'. Good ol' US.

In other news: CO has announced that effective June 1st they are doing away with the BF sundae and will now be offering this: the J.Edward Special.
