Dropped J.Ed at IAH this morning. In Kingwood for the day - - coffee and "breakfast" immanent. Productivity (hopefully) to follow.

There is :rolleyes: in the air. Literally. The farmers are spreading manure and it's a bit ripe out. And I live miles from the closest farm.

I remember riding the train in San Diego. They parked the cars overnight up north of Oceanside next to the tomato fields. Every spring they would dump thousands of cubic feet of manure across tens of thousands of acres for fertilizer.

They kept the train car doors open at night so the cleaning and maintenance folks could get on and off easier.

The smell permeated the seats and all the surfaces of the train cars; it took several months for the smell to deteriorate.

I am measuring productivity today in number of ribs consumed.

I wonder who in the Box can eat the most ribs? I'd put my money on xyzzy.

Three donuts down. No work accomplished as of yet.

I have many home improvement projects I need to accomplish in the apartment today. It is 80 degrees and beautifully sunny outside. I am having much trouble making a decision.

As am I. I need to get the garage organized and presentable.

What is the bigger distraction: three hyperactive labs or flyertalk?
