Well I am up front!! :) So a nice big meal awaits me. Cinnamon Roll or Biscuits.... big decisions!!

CO.Com is Wobbly Bonkers this morning!

On the phone with Elite line now.

The computer protected me automatically! Hope all goes well still. Basically there are possible delays out of MEM and the computer said, grab a flight for Scott!! Way to go CO!! Maybe the merger has already happened!! ;)

Indulge on the Cinnamon Roll - that's comfort food:-:

Ventured out on my DD walk and realized that the temp that displays on my computer was at home and not here! It's going to be a tad warm today.:(

Good morning Box from DCA RCC. Beginning MR which includes the first of my GEG runs.

cheepneezy May 1, 2010 6:38 am

Buenos dias, Box.:)

Just got a long walk in with el perro and my big chore for the day was getting 3 boxes together for the post office. Done.^ Now I just have to wait the two hours for it to open.

Morning, Box.

I can't bring much else to the discussion until after I get some coffee.

Brituchenite May 1, 2010 7:10 am

Good morning, Box. Warning: catch up multi-quote ahead...

Brit,

I was just down in our company store and discovered that I can now buy UK-import Cadbury products. ^

Not a super bargain quite yet - 230g Dairy Milk for $5.30, 53g Starbar for $1.35.

^ Indulge. I am getting perilously low on both tea bags and chocolate (only have about 1800 tea bags in the pantry - if I drop below 2000 I start to have palpitations). At least I know I can, if desperate, buy the real Cadbury's here, but tea bags cannot be acquired except via a trip to the UK.

I sense a quick trip to BRS coming on ......

www.sharebuilder.com I use this online brokerage (it's owned by ING) for my own shareholdings (I use the "drip" method of buying fractional shares each month for a set dollar amount). I don't have an IRA with them, but I know they do them.

I guess that is part of the issue, for me at least. The whole idea of the Box is a place where none of that stuff goes on, and everyone is welcome, and it's all . The Box is an Internet enigma; it is a rare thing indeed for a group of people as varied in all the demographics you could think of as we are to not only get along well for an extended period of time, but to also form real friendships outside of the Internet where we spend significant resources in meeting up with one another as frequently as is possible.

I've been involved in lots of online communities over the years and this one is, by far, the most stable and thereby the most fun of any of them. I would not enjoy an environment where we had to compete for something that doesn't really matter in reality.

By Monday evening we will all know what's going on. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. :D

I think a lot of people are forgetting that there are thousands and thousands of employees who are equally as anxious about what the merger means and are not really considering that.

Wyndham-BD points

BTW - while it is on my mind - has anyone had any of teh Wyndam 5000 promo points credited to their BD account yet?

I show the points in teh Wyndham account, but none have been transferred over to BD yet. I completed my stays in February.

Coffee acquired. Cinnamon Toast Crunch consumed. Launch of normalcy imminent. :-:

You could always order the tea on-line and pay a huge premium for the stuff.
