Does Texas let you keep your old license while the new one is being mailed to you? Am just wondering how a rental car agency would respond to one of those temporary paper licenses in the event Texas DPS takes my old piece of plastic when I go to renew tomorrow.

I lost my license and had to go in. :rolleyes: They take new photos, btw. I did not know that and was not looking good. |

btw - I'm not having any issues using my paper version for ID.. but have not tried for a car rental. Shouldn't be a problem but I'd call. And it is going on 4 weeks since I went in. :rolleyes: |
