Wow!

Sorry for you, jrzyshawn -- but knowing that it's related to the earthquake in Chile, maybe all will have settled down by the time you arrive there!

Trump. Not horrible, though the guys I'm with don't really understand how to travel and get deals. I do need to try to find something cheap for a Wyndham in town here if there is something I can grab for the 5,000 miles with BD.

UA is quite specific on VDB values. They start at $200 for up to 2 or 3 hours, I think.

Only 4 hours sleep and these guys all woke up. Gonna need nap time later today in a serious way.

Poor you! Who are these guys you are with?!:rolleyes:

UA's boarding process has worked pretty well with the red carpet setup. As long as the GA's are semi-rigorous and not afraid to send gate lice to the back of the line every so often, it generally works out.

I agree. I just wish they let 1Ps on the red carpet.

About the only time it breaks down is when there are too many 22" rollaboards for an A319/20.

This is why I travel with a 20" rollaboard.

+1

Ok, Priority Club needs to have better magazine offers. Maybe Motor Trend and Conde Nast Traveler?

Back to some traveling. Curious about airports. More specifically, how many of you have flown into or out of all 3 Bay Area airports SJC/OAK/SFO (different times throughout your life)? What about all 3 major NYC airports? Both CHI airports? The 3 south Florida airports (MIA/FLL/PBI)? Airports in the WAS area (DCA/IAD/BWI)? Both HOU and both DAL airports? Connections are fine too.

Never been to MDW, never been in IAD, Never been to Dallas, period. Any other areas of the country I missed that have at least two pretty large airports? I guess LAX does have a couple as well. I've only been to LAX and SNA.

I've got all three bay area airports, all four LA airports, all three NYC airports (though HPN counts as a fourth), all three FL airports and both Dallas airports. I'm missing MDW and HOU from my portfolio (though does a buzz of HOU count? :D)

While I loved my netbook, i was getting frustrated with it's lack of compute power when trying to read email and web surf at the same time.

Has anyone looked at the Toshiba Satellite T115? It looks snazzy, $449 price point and it seems a bit more powerful than a NetBook, but it's also cheap enough and small enough that it would be ideal for travel.

Apparently the officials in HI plan to sound the alarms at 6am HST to alert the public.

The state planned to sound warning sirens statewide at 6 a.m. to alert residents and tourists of the incoming tsunami, said Shelly Ichishita, spokeswoman for state civil defense.
