If you are interested in tethering, pdaNet is a free(http only) app that you can install to access teh interwebs via 3G on your laptop. If you want https, it's $30. I think I'm going to fork over the $30 since I'm not a plat anywhere:o so I have to pay for internet and it'll pay for itself in "2 nights".

Interesting that pdaNet is free now in some forms; it always used to cost.

I've been using tether since November and LOVE it. It has worked everywhere, including overseas where the "real" tethering plans don't. I love it. Well worth the $50 I spent on it.

I hate NBC's tape delay. That is all.

I've been watching curling and hockey on cable with no delay.

The wedding channel is on again, and this time David Tutera is working with a bride who just pronounced it "eti-quit".

I had an option for 30K miles PLUS $300 for this weekend's trip to upgrade all four segments. Uh, let me think about that...........NO.

The $300 part is a bug; it is miles only since you are elite.

And the CO 772 charter from HHN starts in XJD. Interesting.

Nope, by law they have 14 days from the "official" scheduled closing to deliver title. I could have held out for up to 14 days too. Hopefully it wont be that long b/c that will get real expensive real fast.

Ouch. Good luck.

Me too, except for the curling. But women's bobsled... very tape delayed. Spoiler alert: US women take bronze. Canuckians take gold and silver.

I'm so sorry to hear of your housing woes. I understand how horrible it is. I've bought several properties over the years in NJ and every single time it's been a major headache.

Hang in there. Soon you'll be a homeowner!

Only 4 people have seat assignments on the 772 between BWI and EWR tomorrow morning. For some reason, I get the feeling that someone messed up and the flight isn't supposed to be bookable. I wonder if people are going to have problems getting on the flight.

Would CO not really want that flight to be bookable? It's possible to generate revenue (well maybe).

al-Udeid, Qatar. Been there, done that. Great base. ^^^ If a commercial jet is going XJD-HHN-BWI, odds are it's part of a USAF rotation of active-duty people. Some of the guys have to fly home in the belly of the cargo jets so as to stay with equipment and mind the classified documents. Others get lucky.

I would assume that they would want it bookable, but the flight number (19xx are usually just charters) and the fact that it's not available on CO.com just make me wonder.

In other news, short track speed skating relays look like complete insanity.

Even if the flight doesn't make a profit, why not let the four people on and not have as much of a loss?

Hopefully at least one of the four appreciate the uber-high geek factor.

Ooh, random thought. Could the four seat assignments be deadheading crew?
