Same thing just happened to me. Last week I was outbound on 7-10, return on 7-13. Both flights had posted when I checked 7-16, but no booking bonus. I e-mailed CS yesterday 7-17, and the 500 mile booking bonus is there today 7-18!^
|
Same thing here...I had a R/T started on 6/28. The 500 miles posted on 7/8 instead of the usual same date as orgination....They disappeared on 7/18, then reappeared today as posted 6/28. Strange sequence, but ended up being correct.

Never mind, I think I found it.....

My 500 miles came back too.

Firefox, Calendars
Firefox, Mac.
Clicking in date field opens calendars. First click on a date in the calendar closes the calendar pop-up but does not enter the date into the date field. Even clicking on the arrows to advance months causes the window to close with no entry into the date field. Bringing up the calendar again everything is OK. This is the same for departure and arrival dates, and consistent when reserving flights and hotels. Also: open jaw. Seat assignments on return portion not sticking, website just posted "-" and the usual "we were unable to assign........" message. After manual intervention from a phone rep a couple of days ago, they now seem to be sticking and showing. Can send PNR if interested, but now it seems to be OK, not sure how helpful that will be? |
I just pulled up an itinerary that i'm half way through. My flights from Monday show up with all the info except their flight times. So the total travel time is just being shown as the connection time.
This obviously isn't a huge issue, but it is a bug nonetheless. |
Email notifications incorrect
I just made a domestic round trip reservation. Then requested that a copy of it was emailed via the website. The resulting email contains a PNR that is incorrect, and when this PNR is entered to "Find Reservation" on co.com it (unsurprisingly) cannot be found with that PNR and last name.

Problems with receipts/seating after Changes to an existing Reservation
Not sure if this has been reported.
Had an existing CLE-ORD/MDW-CLE reservation. The other day I changed the return to MKE-CLE online at CO.COM. I did not receive an email notification/receipt but sometimes I have seen where it takes 24 hours before it seems to get ticketed so I waited. Now its been a few days and still no receipt. Logging into co.com I can view the seat map on the return but selecting a seat it does not save, it simply leaves my seat choice as a " ". Going to "view" the reservation it properly shows the entire itinerary, clicking view receipt at the bottom of the page incorrectly displays the original itinerary from MDW. All flights operated by Co Expressjet. Called the plat line to get my seat, they mentioned a few others had similar problems this week. Called it a "glitch" in the system. |
I cannot log into Co.com. I tried myself, my husband and my daughter and cannot log any of us in. As I'm trying to do OLCI, this is a problem. I'm in HKG, so it's not like I want to call CO using my cell phone over this. Sigh.
|
For the past week, using Safari, any attempt to use the pop-up calendar crashes Safari. i.e. I start typing in dates of travel/hotel reservation/rental car pick up and up pops the calendar. If I continue typing in the date, no problems. But, if I click a date on the calendar Safari "unexpectedly closes" and I have to start from scratch. This happens on the Co.com homepage, on advanced search, on hotel search, and on rental car search. FYI it's Safari 2.0.4 on Mac OS 10.4.10

Cancelled flights, graphics bug
If one goes to "Cancelled Flights" in Manage Reservations and have no future trips (Heaven forbid!), what would be the right side of the current reservations (Upcoming, Future, whatever it's called) tab is still visible to the left of the "Past" tab. It is not visible when displaying Past Reservations.
|
Chase MC can only get cheapest fare, turns low fares to Upgrade Elite
Using the Chase MC "onepass" code it is impossible to book any fare besides the cheapest fare available (i.e. cannot book Y if H, K, etc. is available). This is true even if one applies the 5% discount after selecting the flight.
If the discount is selected after clicking on a Y class fare, the "Upgrade Elite" tag still remains when purchasing, even though the fare bucket may be lower. Mentioned in this thread. |

Firefox and Safari on Mac
When trying for the first time in months to find President's Club locations, the new (to me) interactive locations chart simply doesn't work when accessed through Home/Travel Information/AirportInformation/Presidents Clubs/Locations. But, I found that when on this screen, clicking on locations in the folder trail (Home > Travel Information > Airport Information > Presidents Club > Locations > All Lounge Locations) brings me to the old straightforward list. |

If there is a way to view them all at once point me in the right direction please. Thanks, CLEHillBilly |

I've seen a number of problems with reservations falling out. One is a reward reservation that I've never been able to add to my account (made over the phone). The second one is a reservation that i'm in the midst of. I took a flight yesterday and my last leg is on Friday, but it fell out of active into 'Past Reservations'. With both of these, when I bring them up based on PNR, it won't let me add them and gives me an error.

An annoyance
Still pretty new to CO, but this drives me nuts. I have the Chase Mastercard so get a 5% discount for a year. One has to enter "onepass" into the offer code box to get the discount. So I go to flight search, fill out where I want to go, when, etc., then put in "onepass."
I then get this message: "! We could not process your request. Please see the message below and make revisions." And this one: "! You must be a OnePass member to redeem the Chase 5% Off. Please sign in now to continue redeeming this offer." I click on the sign in, log in and get back to the flight search screen, now completely blank. Why oh why can it not remember where I want to go or when? |

So a little bit of an update on my PNRs. When I went to check in for my flight back to EWR from MCO on Friday, I couldn't check in online or at the kiosk. After talking to the agent, it turns out that EUA never sync'ed my record, so she had to manually do it.
On Saturday, trying to fly from EWR to SJC, again I wasn't able to check in online or at the kiosks. The agent didn't say if the record was sync'ed or not, so i'm unclear. Has anyone else seen issues with EUA not syncing your PNR? |
Trying to get more flight options
I'm trying to book CLE-SEA-CLE the week between Christmas & New Year's. The only option continental.com gives me is the one nonstop flight in each direction. Why can't I book connections via EWR/IAH or codeshares on NW via DTW or MSP? Of course, if I call CO directly or use another website to book, I run the chance of 50% EQM as well as booking fees. Any suggestions?
PS...Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere in this 18-page thread. |
On outbound - I am put in 7C - no matter what I chose for a seat. Bizarre.

Trip Alert Issues
Had trip alert "active" for a two segment flight yersterday. Did not get notified before the flight or when there was a one-hour delay, then two-hour delay:mad:
|
Couldn't cancel an award reservation - had to call - they couldn't see why I couldn't.
Tried changing mr. baglady's flight for Sat a.m. - there's availability but when I go for the change - it is bringing up award seats (and none available - but this isn't an award ticket). |
Can't seem to rename rez's on co.com right now.

Was able to change both to exit row the next morning. I haven't tried to make another reservation though. |

Something is wrong tonight...
No account info or existing reservations when I log in, and can't get at the info.
|
I'm not sure what happened, but I have 2 itinereries saved that will not allow me to choose seats. Yes, I can get into the rez and choose seats, but they do not save. When I call co.com, they say that the correct seats are there but they still are not displayed properly. Also, one of the itin's cannot be renamed.
|
Co.com needs to update their airport maps(ie. SFO still has America West on it yet that airline has merged, IAH map needs to show location of new Presidents club and move northwest over to the A terminal).
|
OLCI problems continue
I recieved no OLCI email today for tomorrows flight (started itin yesterday), I went to my account --> View/Change Seats and I am presented the following message:
! Since the departure of flight CO314 is within 24 hours, you can only view your seat assignment(s) at this time. If your flight is eligible for online check-in, you may change your seats when you check in on continental.com no less than one hour before departure. Oddly before starting this itinerary I was sent the email at the 23 hour mark, not the 24 hour mark. If it matters I am EUAd on the 3 remaining legs of this trip. Going to the home page and entering the confo# it allows me to check-in, I am seq# 1 for two early flights tomorrow. That in itself is odd considering the flight it 23.5 hours out, usually by this time I am seq# 3-10 at this time of check-in |
Like many other folks I too am seeing problems trying to get seat assignments to stick. In some cases, they eventually take after multiple tries in some cases it just doesn't work at all.
On a different note, i have a reservation for a flight on AF and one on EK (both codeshares). The trip is EWR-CDG-DXB-LGW-IAH-SFO. On my itinerary page, it shows no connect time in CDG for the flight to DXB. But on the way back it does show all the different connect times. Both ways it was booked as a connection and not seperate flights, so it should show connect time. In a bit more playing around with the seat issue, i've noticed that if i select a seat and hit "Continue" it saves the preference. However, if I select a seat and then pick another flight along the top, it never saves that preference. Seems like you have to individually pick the seat and hit Continue. A bit annoying, but at least there is a work around. |
Surprised a Chataqua Flight posted without me calling
Did CO fix this? I flew on the Chataqua 5+ hour flight LGA-CLE flight on Friday, amazingly it posted today...automatically without any calls to CO for the mileage credit.
Did CO finally fix the Chataqua milieage posting problem, has anyone else seen this happen recently? Or did I just get lucky? |
Ugh, i'm still seeing problems booking a reward reservation.
I can pull up flights and it gives me the summary but when I go to ticket it I get: "Continental.com could not price your itinerary as the following flight(s) no longer have reward availability. Please modify your search criteria." Is this still related to trying to book GN class like in the past or a new issue? Scott: I've sent you the details. |
Seat Changes Sort of Sticking
At OLCI I changed my FC seats. Later, when I looked at the booking online, the change doesn't show; the original seats show. I called CO and they see the changed seats in the reservation; no problem. I guess I will find out tomorrow if the rep is right or the site is. I'm betting (hoping) the rep is.

BOS listed twice in new lounge list
In:
All Lounges SkyTeam and Affiliated Lounges BusinessFirst and Under "US" and "All" there are two entries for BOS, second is empty. PC Club list is clean as BOS only lists once under US and All. |
Odd one...
Checked in at a kiosk (4 of us travelling on same PNR). Couldn't find my OP card so swiped the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Only my ticket came up. Checked in then restarted with the PNR. The remaining three came up properly. [kudos, btw to HNL ground staff for getting our bags on the flight even though we missed the minimum checkin time due to a near misconnect.] Checking my email, I find an eticket receipt for the other three emailed at the time I checked in the other 3 using the PNR. I'm not on the receipt, just them... and the amount is correct for the 3. I am not able to pull up the receipt on past reservations (co.com), and the reservation (past) shows only myself, not the other three travelers. Oddly, there is an additional "not ticketed" entry under past reservations for the 4 of us, but no details or receipt available. Scott: I can pm you any details (although I believe you already have the PNR from an unrelated issue). |
Seat Selection
If you change seat assignment from seatmap on co.com, then select the next segment - the changed seat will not hold. Only the last change before "continue" will change. Other segments go back to original seat. Thus, you need to change the seat assignment for one segment, then "continue", the go back to seatmap for the next segment and repeat the "continue", etc. Previously, selecting the next segment tab, would change the seat. |
