In the latest installment of 1K DYKWIAism I just watched one get into a shoving match with a GA after cutting in front of the first class boarding, skip past the woman getting boarded in a wheelchair and then complain about UA having bought CO and "getting it in sync". Our future..

Sadly the GA didn't make him go to the back of the elite boarding line but I think if that had happened he probably would have set his bluetooth headset down and gotten ready to rumble.
No customer is going to shove me and still get on a plane. But then again I don't allow myself to get into this type of confrontation in the first place.

So I have another dentist appointment and then I get to go back to my regular dentist for the crown, part one and two.

What a way to spend my vacation.
I hope you get it resolved soon. "PITA" does not even come close.

I have a crown that I'm on multiple visits for - it is just obnoxious. And no, it wasn't cheap.

Visit 1: I need a crown
Visit 2: Prepare tooth for crown
Visit 3: back for real crown, doesn't feel right. Dentist uses temp cement to put real crown on to feel it for awhile..
Visit 4: Back to permanently adhere crown - oh wait.. they can't get it off - come back in two weeks - dentist needs to order some stuff to get crown off.
Visit 5: Couldn't get crown off.
Visit 6: Redo crown.
Visit 7: Adhere crown permanently.

Fast forward a few months - saw another dentist (an associate of the first) for another issue. He happens to see said crown in his X-ray: "You need them to redo that is crown - it is horrible. I already told your other dentist - they will be redoing it free of charge.

So I'll be back a total of 9x for one crown. Such cr@p.

My company phone is AT&T, my personal is Verizon. In the US I get much better service with Verizon, whereas overseas I seem to get much better reception on the work phone. I don't dare use my Verizon over seas

Your dentist doesn't happen to be from Iran, I hope. Mine is and he talked me into doing a root canal and a crown. Only thing is, he did not get all of the nerve out during the root canal, so $700 and two years later, I finally had the tooth extracted like I had wanted to do from the beginning.

Lol No.. Suspect my dentist was pretty incompetent since she is no longer there. Hopefully the new guy won't screw it up again. Avoid Omni Dental. :-:

I've had 6 root canals. No issues except for one of them. For some reason the pain just wouldn't go away but that same tooth also had some other issues going on. Which required me to see another specialist for work. I don't even want to admit to how much I spent to keep that tooth in my mouth.

I miss having a dentist that can do all of this stuff in one office. Nothing like having to visit a specialist for a look see. $$$$$

I have a good dental plan except for none of my dentist are in "the network".

OUCH!

My dentist Dr. Mahmoodi is Iranian but he's awesome! I have a permanent retainer on my bottom row and it used to break about every 4-6 months, since my sophomore year of high school, so every time I got my teeth cleaned the retainer got re-bonded. First time I saw Dr. Mahmoodi and told him about it, he got my previous dental notes, then tried a new bonding and repair technique he learned at a convention in Sweden and it's still solid 2 years later.

Of course there's the extreme, one of my coworkers tries to make sure he goes to our office/ASIAN HQ in SIN every 6 months on the dot so he can go to Raffles Dental Center. He swears by it.

So apparently the older, more blue-bloodish clientele of northern Delaware is angered at the theater's choice of Messiah Rocks. One woman walked up to the theater GM and said that he should be ashamed of himself, and that Handel is rolling over in his grave.

I think in this situation I would agree with SFOGate and would take care of said guest. Atleast that is what I am learning in class.

I used this AmEx promotion to get a hotel for the night before Hockey Do - didn't want to jeopardize the "party" suite at the Hyatt at the Bellevue for after the hockey match.

You now have a copy of the Tennessean drinking memo. It's a pre-cursor to our newly-passed Constitutional right to hunt and fish.
