Unfortunately, I'll be on the opposite side of the country (BOS) from 9/23 (morning red-eye departure) until 9/28. Come back and visit, though!

I'll be in ANC, land 7:15pm on Fri, 9/30. Depart 1am Sun, 10/2. So I could possibly make dinner Friday or Saturday.

I'll also be in ANC Sat 9/24 from 7:15pm - 11:30pm. I plan to stay airside, so would have to meet there.

Picked up nearly 5 lbs of Round Tip (thinish cut) and going to marinate overnight for tomorrow.

So I hope the BBQ is operational

It certainly is. Cabbage Queen lost her head a few days ago and the carrot clan have been acting up. I will be teaching them a lesson with some butter braised cabbage and cole slaw to go with the Round tip.

5 lbs is a bit much for three. I hope a few others show up!!!!!

The beeef is marinating as we speak in the reefer; a nice mixture of Hawaiian BBQ sauce, shoyu, ginger and a splash of Red Wine for good measure.
