Feel free to plan it.
Speaking of plans, current plan has me in ANC next Wednesday night. I've already pushed that date back once and may push it back again. Too much to see (and eat
) down here in Mexico.
But when I get there, I promise you can beat me over the head with a bottle of wine until the DO is planned. (Preferably one that we had just emptied.)

I will, however be happy to see you and empty a bottle(s) or more trying to convince you to get this together. If it happens, great. If not......
And YES, the bottle(s) will be empty

When your plans are more firm we will try to pull a local mini-do together

I have never planned, nor do I ever plan to plan a DO. I do not plan to plan a do anytime soon. Not my gig.

I'm going to arrive at the Anchorage airport on July 11 (unless I get delayed by weather) and leave for LAX the afternoon of the 12th. I'll probably just stay at the Marriott at the airport but would love to have a drink or three with anyone who will be in the neighborhood. If I'm lucky, I'll have some good bear photographs to show off.

- Courtyard at Int'l Airport and Spenard
- Fairfield on C St at Tudor
- SpringHill Suites on C at 36th
- Downtown Marriott on 7th at I
- SpringHill Suites University Lake by UAA/APU
Really, Anchorage is a small enough city that the difference in time between the Courtyard and the Marriott downtown is 10-15 minutes. All but the downtown Marriott have airport shuttles, too, even the SpringHill Suites University Lake (last I checked).
