I assume this DO is still on. Since I am doing an ANC-ORD-ANC turn Friday night, I won't have a lot of time to plan the menu for the Farewell (again) to Jackal event. Celebrate the launch of the SE AK DO 2014!
I will supply the wine and a pasta salad. Volunteers are needed for the other ingredients.

Keeping it simple sounds good. Peppers, onions, meat, guac. Sounds good to me

I'm not really sure what kind of updates you're waiting for...either they will be edible or they will be covered in green fuzz.

Ooh...it looks like Bayless was in PHL and has opened one since I was last home. Might have to make a detour there one of these days...

This looks quite appetizing indeed, and I know that food court over on O'Hare's K concourse well. I'll certainly make a point of visiting next time I'm through town. I'll be through Anchorage in two weeks but alas, I don't believe there's any Mexican food outlets in terminal. Heck - I'd settle for Taco King at either ANC or FAI - it'd definitely be a lot better and less expensive than the current concession at FAI.
