Nah, skip Friday. No one will be in the office anyway.

I should be able to make brunch too as long as I don't sleep in. So count me in +1 for now

Folks, I will be in Vegas then if NW doesn't screw up too bad

I would love to be a part of the "do," as I have never attended one before. I'm guessing the brunch at Wynn is the event that will be easiest for me to attend. You can count me in for that. Somewhat interested in the nightclub if the other poster can indeed follow through with VIP passes for the group, as I don't do lines. I can walk, I can't just stand without getting twitchy, and I would happy to do the Red Rock excursion. We would need to pack water, but you guys know that already, I'm sure. Seems like because of heat issues, this would be better done early morning, maybe Sunday morning, but I suppose as a practical matter no one will be awake on Sunday morning. I'm embarrassed to say how many years it has been since I've done Red Rock. We found some decent petroglyphs last time.

Okay, I think I'm caught up through here. Peachfront, Red Rock is simply fantastic (still). Red Rock Station Casino is also as nice as any casino that I've seen on the Strip.

I sent a PM to all the native LAS FlyerTalkers that I know with the link to this thread. We should have some additional RSVPs start filtering in soon.

Ironically, EquityMind, it looks like I will be spending the evening of 7/6 and the day of 7/7 in your hometown, SNA. I will be back in time for the special dinner at hard rock and all of Sunday's activities (jetskiing??/boating/can someone get us comped into a European-style beach club /whatever)

Aha, you meant the Red Rock casino. I thought you meant the park! I guess it makes more sense now. I was wondering...July...afternoon...Nevada...park? :-)

Gah. Our local resident/host isn't even going to be around for most of the DO? Who's going to get us into clubs and such on Friday?

We'll have to toast a few on Thursday/Friday to you...

So where is everyone staying? uva185 and I are at the Las Vegas Marriott Suites by the Convention Center. I'm also planning on coming in on US297 on Thursday ~11pm, although it's been arriving a little early the last few days.

I think all US flights have been arriving late for the past few days Didn't you see, there is a Travel Advisory for LAS due to thunderstorms.....2,000 miles away

Added: Oops, you said early, all these delays on the east are screwing with my mind

Schmutzig, you have been moved from tentative to definite. We lived in MSP for four years, so looking forward to catching up on my RedTail gossip.

I'd be up for doing something on Saturday, but I wouldn't be able to join in until later in the afternoon, as I have to work Saturday morning and early afternoon.

So, where will everyone be during the 2pm-4pm window or so?

There's talk of a Red Rock visit. Another idea might be if we could get 9 or 10 people who wanted to do it, to see if one of the casinos would open a poker table for us. Best to make this a low limit table so it would be all in fun for everyone if we try that.

We should have a suite at the Westin, so if there is a table there, we could always use that. Warning: I think I'll need a VERY low limit table!
