I will update this list of attendee within the next few days. Sorry for not keeping up with it.

Please count me in as a tentative. The flights are pretty cheap looking for me so as long as I can change one reservation I'll be definite.

Mark me as tentative for this year... it looks like I may be teaching in SIN that weekend (to be confirmed soon). Of course, that means I may be limited on what activities I can actually make (unless we want to make one of my classes an activity) but I'm always up for night crawls to hawker stands or on Boat Quay.

Count me as a tentative as well...working flights this week.

Tentative

Trying to work out fares from the west coast that would make the trip more affordable and worth more miles.

Put me down as tentative for now, but sure hope I can make this Do as my brief stay in SIN earlier this year was most enjoyable but way too short!

I will be in the area. Count me in.

Yeay! Geylang! Be sure to take a taxi in... ^

Forgot to add this in, but I'm confirmed and will be in SIN 1/17-1/22.

I've done that before and that led to me sleeping through the main Sat night dinner event :(:)

What are hotel rates for the DO?

I've stayed at the Copa Orchid and it was central and cheap, but not so nice.

What rates do people get for the IC or the Conrad H? PL or not?

Thanks.

Anyone recently book a flight ex-US on *A (preferrably UA)? Would love to attend the DO but the best I can come up with on UA is $1300 all-in, which seems a bit steep to me. Is that good or should I wait/look at alternate options?

Hope to see you all there!

Sean

Out for sure. Not getting to Hong Kong until Jan 20 right now. Have fun!

Grrr...

Hey Folks,

I really really really want to make this, but unfortunately I can't stay for six days, which means the fares are quite high. The only way I could justify this would be to "nest" a ticket, meaning I book TPA-SIN for this weekend, returning the weekend after, with a SIN-MCO ticket nested in there (purposely changing airports to avoid any issues). Unfortunately the TPA-SIN fares are reasonable but the fares ex-SIN are about $400 more with UA. Anyone know a way around this, or maybe a SIN consolidator that would have a reasonable deal?

Thanks!:)
