Sorry, I didn't realize the PM activities were located near transit.
No, I didn't book any hotel far away. In fact, I haven't booked any hotel at all. But I think you know where I'm staying.
In any case, I'll use public transit, or Mrp Alert has also offered a ride if I need it, so I should be fine.

All day conference on Saturday then flying home Saturday night. I arrive into Sky Harbor around noon on Friday and will be staying at the Four Points Metrocenter where the conference is being held.

Re. Sat. events, what I was indirectly trying to gauge was the desire/demand for some kind of MR seminar. Hearing none, I'll scratch that from the list of possibilities.
Re. Sunday brunch, something's come up on my personal calendar (a bud's moving to Europe in a couple weeks) so I will plan to be around for all of the activities listed thus far from Friday through Saturday, but I'm eyeing the 9:45pm HP PHX-SAN after Saturday dinner, so I'll have to excuse myself from the tentative Brunch plans.
Re. Friday dinner, my challenge is this: I'm considering a particular well-located Mexican spot (Macayo's for the locals) but I am not personally a huge fan. So, please forgive the delay as I look into a couple other options that were suggested.
Thanks! I look forward to meeting all of you!

Hi,
Put me down as...50/50. I am flying in from MSP. If I do make it to PHX...I will be planning to stay Friday to Sunday or Monday.
I am just not sure where the sessions or meeting are gonna be at, and even at what time? I am not planning to rent a car...and I would like to stay at the hotel where the meetings are gonna be. However. I don't know where?
Any help/info/time/place..would be good. Please.
Thanks

I've updated the attendee list. If you don't think you can make it, let me know ASAP. If you haven't announced your interest in attending, there is still plenty of time! Come join us.

Tucsonans?
Anyone else from Tucson planning on heading north for this?
I'm not sure which event(s) I'd attend. I'll talk to the SO and figure it out. We both want to go to http://www.tucsonmeetyourself.org/ which is the same weekend.
P.S. Pinal Air Park is closed to public vehicular traffic, but it's open to public fly-in traffic.

I just spotted this thread. On a personal note, I used to have a business located in the East Van Buren area, and wouldn't recommend anything between 12 st and 36th st. They're not horrible, really, but the nightlife can get a bit interesting.
In fact, if you wait outside the Bill Johnson's, you're likely to spot a number of entrepreneurial ladies strolling past.
Well, most of them look like ladies anyway.
Put me down as a maybe. Bill Johnson's is on my own "no fly list", but I might make an exception for this case. If there is a restaurant for Friday night, let me know, and maybe I'll do that one instead.

Well, I've confirmed Macayos Tempe for the Friyda dinner at 6pm. Details are:
Macayos Depot Cantina -- across the street from the US Airways World Headquarters
300 S. Ash
Tempe AZ 85281
(480) 966-6677
http://www.macayo.com/locations/Stor...epot%20Cantina
All else on the schedule in the first post is good..... only thing is, nothing was really decided for the Sat. events (i.e. which time people would like to reserve for the space shuttle excursion). So, unless I hear more from folks about their preferences, should we just keep the structured Friday dinner and Saturday dinner, and let people self-organize for Saturday events??
