What part of PHX will you be staying in?

I will paint my toes for you :D

MileageAddict Jul 30, 2006 8:05 am

My conference is at the W Marriott Desert Ridge but I don't collect Marriott points so I may very well stay someplace else.

Anyone else want to come see Jan's toes? :D

No idea where I'll be that weekend but I'll keep an eye on the thread. I love the JW Marriott Desert Ridge! But it's not actually near much, so hopefully you'll have a car. Or someone will pick you up to give you a ride.

Of course the miniscule miles I'd get for hopping over to PHX; hmm, might need to look at a farther (further?) away Do... ;)

Cheers.

You could always consider LAX-IAD-SFO-PHX and return :D (yes, I'll have a rental car)

It's in the book. I'm in.

I'll be the one holding a gold mix bag ^

KevAZ Jul 30, 2006 5:12 pm

I've scheduled it, now if I can just keep the darned business travel away on that date. I'll wear my "Doug Parker, where did my Dr Pepper go?" t-shirt. :D I think you'll like the JW Marriott, it's pretty nice.

If you want great service and excellent food at a reasonable price, and a little history (yes, in Phoenix!) El Chorro Lodge is one of our favorites.

50/50 for this DO. I will keep my eyes on the thread and confirm closer to the date.

UAPremierExec Jul 31, 2006 12:58 am

woohoo.. I move September 1st... and just found a fabulous house in Chandler (no pool, but we can fix that).

I've heard rumblings that Four Peaks is really really good.... and there's never a shortage of good liquor in Tempe on Mill Ave...

Robertsonland Jul 31, 2006 9:02 am

I sometimes don't know what I'm doing for lunch later in the day but I'll pencil it in and keep an eye on the thread. I used to work not too far from Desert Ridge so I could make the jaunt over there.

Thanks to jan for posting a notice in the US forum. ^

I'm also not sure where I'll be that weekend. I have to do a boatload of AA MR's so I may or may not be in town. I'll keep my eye on this thread.

So I was thinking ( everyone go  ).

Phoenix in Oct is about as beautiful as if gets here.

Anyone interested in going out to Taliesin West

http://www.franklloydwright.org/inde...n=taliesinwest

This is one of the original Frank Lloyd Wright structures and is pretty incredible.

Four Peaks is interesting for dinner - its down in Tempe.
