Credit card points (such as MR) aren't counted. Airline miles earned on spend are.. we never said it was BIS miles ![Wink](https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
And I see now. He could have a hotel card though

Just for your information (and a couple of others who have posted similar things), I will be updating the website with the hotel and flight information for do attendees only - there is a section on FT called Itineraries where other people who are not attending the do can post such information. Apologies to seem a bit hard, but it does take my time and effort to update the information - now obviously, I'm willing to do it for do attendees, but I'm not about to become a centralised "I'm in the area of the do, but not wanting/able to attend, can I meet people" service I'm afraid.
Sorry you can't make it to the do.

Thanks, all, for the wishes for Lady JDiver's speedy recovery!
Meantime, I cancelled my AXON at Waldorf Hilton... and two FC award seats JFK-LHR-JFK on AA 122 Nov 9 and AA 105 Nov 14 (and connecting flights AA 24 and 177 between SFO and JFK.) No guarantees they released any of these into awards inventory, but...
