Headinclouds---will start looking at April dates this week for the AA Dallas thing.

Hi folks .. been a while since I dropped in on one of these DC gatherings.
Looks like I will likely be downtown DC May 31/June 1/ June 2 (Wed,Thurs,Fri) - any chance of suggesting a get-together sometime around then if there are no other suggestions for that period?
For a while there I attended more of these than many locals FT'ers.
I'll come down from OzFest #3 and do that real fun 20+ hour hike to IAD next day.

Hey folks - With Glen's posting - what say we tentatively plan a May 31st or June 2 event - around downtown DC somewhere?
I am going to put this up on first post and we can slowly iron out details of when and where.

Nothing seems to be planned as of now.
Should we try and do something in conjunction with the Cherry Blossoms?

FT Funny Story
Yes, this is related to the DC Happy Hour Thread. My company franchises a local chain called Five Guys Burgers and Fries. This past weekend, one of our district managers was on a WN flight from Hartford to BWI. The flight attendant saw his logoed shirt, and asked if he was "Pizzaman" (my screen name). He and I know each other well, and he told her he knew me. She raved about Five Guys, and told him that I had offered to do a Happy Hour, but it never came together. Well, I've got our District Manager hooked on FlyerTalk, now it's time to hook the FTers on Five Guys.
I am again proposing a Happy Hour at our Georgetown location, which also serves beer and wine. Burgers and fries are on me, but the District won't let us give away the booze, so FTers will have to pay their way in cash or frequent flier miles.
I would propose an evening, Sunday through Wednesday of any week, so we'll have plenty of space. I'll let someone smarter figure out a date and time.

I'm afraid it's too late for that... I'm already hooked on Five Guys! You guys opened a franchise about 5 minutes from my parents' house (in Delaware) as well, so they are hooked as well.
Any plans to open a location out in Sterling or Ashburn? The Herndon location is always mobbed.

Well, I ate my first Five Guys burger after PM'ing with you a few months back and now I'm hooked -- which is especially dangerous because there's a Five Guys (not one of yours) within easy walking distance of home!
