Just as well. If I could find someone to give me free booze, I'd need another kind of sponsor in the near future

I'd love to make it, but I'm going to be in St. John's, Newfoundland on the 26th!

Yeah - I'm going to blow off my Arabic night class and opt for Five Guys' burgers instead. It's really a no brainer. I don't know why I hesitated in the first place..

peace,
~Ben~

Foggy Bottom to Gtown

Anybody metroing can get off at Foggy Bottom (Blue/Orange) (don't forget to get a transfer before you board Metro) and EITHER take any of the 30 busses (be careful though, the 38B goes to Rosslyn and you'll have to get off at Wisconsin and walk up a couple of blocks) and get off at N St, the first stop after you turn onto Wisconsin and walk up to 1335 Wisconsin (corner of Dumbarton between N and O) OR you can take the new DC Circulator which will drop you on Wisconsin and K (last stop) and you can walk up Wisconsin a few blocks to 5 guys. It also a fairly short pleasant walk from 24th and Penn to 5 guys, about 10-15 minutes.

I'll take a ride if you're offering. My usual chauffeur, dcgators, moved to Silver Springs.

Newbie to FT, native to area. Sorry but I will be on vacation in Hilton Head, so I won't be able to make it. Rather ironic that the first FT gathering I'll make is the one in Fort Worth this Friday. See some of you there?

I'll have to catch the rest of you another time.

Sounds like we'll have pretty good attendance. Not to further pollute the list, but if I can get a show of hands from people that are wine lovers, I'm going to break a couple of special bottles out of the wine cellar for the happy hour.

If you are so moved to reply, please feel free to specify a favorite varietal so I have guidance.

But he can still pick you up to take you there if you want as he works in Fort Washington. He won't be able to take you home though.

I know Japhydog will be all over this request ... ^

I love wine and will leave it in your good hands as to the selection. I prefer reds but will entertain whites if that is what everyone else chooses.

Thanks so much for hosting us. ^

I've been dieting for an upcoming trip to Tuscany so a 5 Guys sounds like heaven right now ...
