My SQ 19 arrives at 5:40 am. Leaving for Bali on SQ 142 at 9:30 am. So I should be there. I am in Raffles.

Haven't be on the ball for Bali-Do. M1-K1. 3 course.

YGPM re Mozaic dinner, as per this post.

@:-) Reminder to everyone...PMs have been sent to those who are on the list for Mozaic. If you haven't received a PM from me specific to the Mozaic dinner, do NOT assume you are on the list. PM contains specific information which needs to be read and responded to before the Mozaic dinner (actually, by 18May). Tks!

Thank you. I have PM the person who needs to be the guest at SKL. And yes, he will be in the same flight with you on SQ19. He will PM you directly.
Once again, thank you. Looking forward to meet you in Bali and thanking you personally.

My recent stay at Conrad Bali

I had some points which were going to expire from my timeshare at HHV so I decided to check out the Conrad on my recent trip to Bali. My HH gold status expired at the end of April. The only thing that HH gold gives you at this hotel is free breakfast which I did not use since I ate in the private club.

The private club can be accessed for $30 + + per day. If you are HH diamond it is free. The breakfast was very good and geared toward an Asian guest, as most of them were Japanese and Taiwanese. Besides the buffet they had an egg menu.
Happy hour (free drinks) is from 17:30-19:30 and had some assorted appetizers.
The lounge had two PCs which had free internet access. If you need to print something there is an extra fee.
The lounge is open 7:00-23:00, as well as the hotel bar. So, I would suggest bringing your own bottles if you plan on late night drinks. The mini-bar only had beer, scotch, gin and vodka.

Internet access is approximately $16 + + per 24 hours in your room.

I had a deluxe ocean view room which had a nice balcony. I would always get lost. The signage is not very good.

In any case, the Conrad is just 1.7 km away from the Westin. Taxi was less than $2.

I recommend buying the club deal if you are staying at the Conrad.

FLYGVA and I will be arriving on the earlier flight that day. Perhaps we could leave the InterContinental just in time to pick you and cathaana up at the airport at ~1930 and head straight to Mosaic. Give me a few days to email the hotel and work out transportation.

Perhaps I can join your transportation? I could meet you at the IC.

Sure...flamboyant1 and cathaana have decided not to join the Mosaic dinner, so it will be just FLYGVA and me leaving from the IC, so there'll be plenty of space. Come down earlier if you want - drinks at the Club lounge start around 5.30pm

Anyone else that we can think of arm-twisting them very very hard?
Ask him to look for someone to swop with.... the very least he could do is be on SQ147 on the 28th.........

Blinjing Yellow!

Looks like I might need to be in CMB towards the end of the month. I know that CMB and DPS is not a puddle-jump flight away, but if I'm on THAT sid of the world, I'll figure out a detour. Will know more by May 15.

Thanks!

SIN SKL guest policy

I had been doing some research on this topic and came across this post.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showp...7&postcount=21

Does anybody know if a Rafles passenger without SQ status can bring in guest?

I'll be tracking through YVR, ICN, & HKG before reaching Bali:

18MAY06 SQ17 J YVR-ICN 1400/1720+1

21MAY06 CX419 Y ICN-HKG 2000/2240

25MAY06 CX785 Y HKG-DPS 1005/1445
28MAY06 CX784 Y DPS-HKG 1555/2045

Definately getting closer and closer and I am beginning to see the level of anxiousness skyrocket!

No. *G can bring in guest, but SIN SKL is not a *G lounge. First class pax on SQ can bring in guest, as can PPS. If you're on the party flights then there is a good chance guests can be accommodated due to the number of PPS (lesser chance on other flights but may still be possible).

Perhaps StarG could add a note to the spreadsheet of those who can help with guest SKL access, so folk can contact them to arrange? Otherwise, check out the first post of the SQ forum's lounge and meets thread

Just stumbled across this thread and coincidentally I'll be at the IC Bali from the 24th-28th May on holidays. At least now I know where all the Suite upgrades have disappeared to, looks like there'll be more Royalty on hand there over the weekend than at a coronation!

Not sure that I'll be in a position to take part in the Bali Do festivities (my better half already has plans in mind for us, romantic that she is), but no doubt for those lingering around the IC Club there'll be a chance to say hi sometime over the weekend. ^
