Ok I'll be a maybe for the SIN 6th Aug thing...
Had an exhausting SIN trip this time...New Asia bar was cool...upstairs was dead though...all the girlies were downstairs...(also the problem with flying premium classes...)
So in HKG now...if anyone's around...
Oh, if no one is out 16th night, anyone want to do a mini-FT lunch on the 17th?

Paging Bali Do participants considering a jaunt to Incheon! We seem to have the makings of at least a Mini Do starting to gel. Please keep an eye on the thread, since Incheon (The Winged City!) is "The Hub of Asia," easily reached from Asia and North America alike--even for a weekender. Heart 'n Seoul Do, Labor Day 2005 (Sept. 2-5), Seoul/Incheon Korea.

Another email from the Westin
Dear Diana,
Greetings from The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for selecting our resort during your visit to Bali. We are delighted to know from the Starwood questionnaire that you have kindly completed that you overall experience has been memorable.
For the negative experience you have encountered at the Kites bar we are really sorry and there are no excuses to justify the attitude of the waitress who was using a mobile phone while on duty. In fact following your remarks we have issued a new mobile phones policy throughout the hotel to ensure that the guest care and satisfaction continue to be the priority for all of our associates.
Again thank you for your support and positive feed-back on your stay. Rest assured this has already been shared with the team and everyone look forward to your next visit.
Kindest personal regards,
Alex Riva

I'm glad to see that he followed up with you on your comments, IME that usually doesn't happen, and especially to let you know of a positive change that came about from your comments. Several of us received e-mails yesterday from Alex as well. Nice touch on both counts.
FWIW, I did talk to one of the managers while we were there about doing a group deal at the Westin for next year. They're definitely willing to work with us if we want to work with them.

Of course you wouldn't know what that was. In fact, most of the baliDoers don't have a clue either.
I am however, a leading authority on the above matter. Please contact me for a full product description
