i concur that Bali-Do 2005 is a big hit ^ ^ ^
StarG and CGK, kudos to both of you for doing such an excellent job on the logistics. And the excellent recommendations for dinner at Ku-te-da and Moziac (thanks Kin!).
Diana, it's been geat meeting u, and hope to see you again.
oontiveros, whenever u pass by SIN, drop us a line. Hope the mosquitoes didn't camp on u this afternoon.
Megatop Lover, you picked the right place to stay at Bali. We just love the sunset by the restaurant. We had a quick tour of the Ritz-Carlton Bali..... I think we are quite sold on the idea of having next year's Bali-Do at the RC. After the snafus at the Westin Bali, I'm crossing it off my list for a long time to come.
All of us got into SIN. For the rest still on their way home, safe travels!

Very nice and accurate post by shortfinals above.
I am sure the standards with StarG and CGK as part of the crew were very high...

I have to agree with all of the above posts -- what a fantastic weekend!!! Thanks again to StarG & CGK for all of their organizing and efforts that went into BaliDo2005!!!! Of course it was fantastic to see my FT buds, and to meet some new ones -- Diana & MegatopLover I'm really glad you were able to work your schedules in to spend some time with us! ^^^ It was also fantastic to meet Ceri & Aimmy (okay Herman, did I spell that right?) & Chai - and hope they'll be back for more too! And the photos in the cockpit were a great way to close!
Mozaic was indeed fantastic and all I'd read it to be. Thanks to StarG for getting us in! And I don't even know how to begin to describe what it was like to walk into the ZenBaliSpa after you all had finished your "experiences"
Another vote for either the RC or private villas for BaliDo2006 ^ Will start working on it in the near future. I think it may take another trip back to Bali to check everything out though

Hey was definitely good fun.
Nice meeting all of you and will def call you guys in SIN when I am there (very often).
So we seriously need to think of a Jakarta Do...and with excellent gracious organisers like CGK and StarG...heheheheh...we already have a head start!
Yes by the way, thanks to StarG, CGK and Kin for the great dinners and transport. Made life alot easier.
The Westin wasn't too bad...just the RBC thing but they were just doing their jobs...one can't expect front-line executive decisions (good ones anyway) all the time out in this part of the world. But perhaps next year we'll work something more amenable to all. As in we ALL get access to a lounge, breakfast, etc.
Ok see you guys around...call me if ever in CGK.

oh, i think a private villa or a series of private villas with a shared pool and private staff would be a good option for next year. We get our own FT compound where staff are for us and us only...

Did someone say cake?
Checking in from NRT SKL on the way home...after receiving yet another birthday cake on the SIN-NRT flight (I wonder who in the world could've been behind that
) and a card signed by both the F cabin & flightdeck crew, as well as they were leaving it for the next round of crews to sign as well.
I agree with Oliver on the Westin -- from what I heard, it seems the problems were with the RBC rather than with the hotel in general? Besides, every other time I answered the phone in my room it was a manager calling to apologize that they could only put me in the two bedroom family studio since they were out of suites when I checked in & they hoped it wasn't too much of an inconvenience & was the room comfortable enough for me
I do still like the initial idea we had regarding several private villas
