I'd definitely consider this for BaliDo2006, possibly coming in a day early? Let's talk... Also, when you're in Cgo in August, let us know if you want to head out for a round.

For adventures out of Seoul, we could trek up to the DMZ or take the new KTX high-speed train. Seoul seems to have good hotels in a bunch of different brands: JW Marriott, (brand new) PH and GH, W, RC.

Anyone in?
I'm out. Sounds like a fantastic trip though! Someone please send a postcard

Great pictures Cheryl and Wilson. I am just curious about the other 200 pictures.

Cute Bali-Bali. Post more photos!

I am a bit confused. Are we doing the Bali-do 2006 in Bali?

Did anyone else who stayed at the Westin get an email from Miguel Ko, President Asia Pacific Starwood, asking to complete a survey?

Thanks! The other 2oo pictures contained some duplicates, photos taken from the plane inflight, more of the Alila Ubud, etc... (anything too incriminating was deleted before I landed at LAX ). I figured I was already pushing my luck with 200! If anyone wants to see the whole set, send me your e-mail and I'll send you a link when it's done.

RE BaliDo2006, see post 419 same weekend, same place (although it's likely a safe assumption we'll pick a different hotel central - suggestions incl. RC, one of the Alilas, private villas (2-4?) with our own staff?). BUT....we've got a list of other locations we're going to be "DOing" in coming months in addition

No survey for the Westin here

Actually, the private villa(s) thing is tops on my list. Sounds great!

As for the other Dos, Korea is something I have personally done (and liked) but I am out as well.

Will do, have you guys been playing in Chitown? Where?

You know, for $40 green fees for some of the best courses in Asia that Jakarta offers, I just don't go enough...damn I am lazy...

Sitting in the F (I guess) section of the SATs lounge in T1 SIN...not too bad...free wifi (thru mobile roaming with StarHub) and getting my feet massaged by creepy foot massager...not quite like Zen.

At Kiwi Flyer's suggestion, I've started a new thread to gauge interest in a Do in Seoul on Labor Day weekend. Let me know if it sounds good to any of you.

There's only been one organized outing this year, about a month ago, but will be more planned. You met most of the likely suspects at lunch in Cgo. Which weekend(s) are you in Cgo in August?

Yup, I did. Except they got my name mixed up with w8sn's so it ended up something like Moview8Mansn (I ended up with his first name and my last name as my middle names, and with his surname--you figure it out! ) And I am not kidding! I think it happened because he helped me with the reservation (i.e., getting it at 50% off). I just hope I get the SPG points!

Yeah, what dates are folks going to be in Chicago? I've not really spent much time there, and a quick weekend could help in my quest to rack up stays at every Peninsula in the world.

There's always something going on in Chicago, although it's quieter in the summer. For weekends, give us a bit of notice and we can still get something going. Speaking of the Cgo Pen....last October we did Chocolate at the Pen and it turned into a weekend. I have a strong suspicion it may be done again this autumn...

At least the Westin did not change your gender identity. If you look at the birthday cake carefully, you would see the writing as "Happy Birthday Ms. W & Ms R" Yup, the cake chef could read my inner mind.

My points had been posted. You should check yours on-line. If not posted yet, you can request credit immediately.

Lastly, when are you going to post the picture of "Sleeping Beauty #3"?

I must have too much coffee this morning. I thought I have seen the #1 and #2 Sleeping Beauties somewhere out there... More coffee?
