Made it in one piece to SFO. Flight was very light, 14 on UD, 17 on LD biz. I think I was the 3rd pax in the 2nd biz LD cabin, so the service was excellent. And Jubilee, good thing u had access to golf-car today.....I was the last passenger to board my flight :D Enjoy your trip to HKG!

So are we having any pre-drinks meeting prior to dinner on Friday? I reckon since Westin has evening drink service, might as well make it our meeting grounds.

28 May MH714 DPS-KUL - depart sometime midday i think.

Well, I suppose one night is better than not at all...

CGK had suggested a pool party 4-6 before dinner, leaving for dinner around 6:45. Of course it also depends on how/when the birthday cake shows up! But yes, definitely we'll meet at the Westin before leaving for dinner.

Sunday plans?
 

So we're doing dinner+ on Friday evening, touring/sightseeing on Saturday followed by dinner+on Saturday evening. Has anyone given any thought to Sunday plans? CGK was asking me about that and I hadn't given much though to it other than perhaps a bit of time at the beach/pool. Anyone have any thoughts on Sunday's activities? I also wouldn't mind doing a bit more sightseeing if anyone's interested.

They offered me a cake as well so shall I tell them to deliver it to the pool on Fri at 1600? I am at the SKL lounge now...waiting to connect to CGK...

I took UA from ORD to EWR...checked in two bags...UA managed to lose one in EWR (yes the system shows both bags made the UA flight but only one could be found by SQ. SQ sent a man to search for my other bag but no luck)...amazing...they lost my bags even before I got on SQ21...SQ was nice enough to tell me this at the SAS lounge. The wines were in the lost bag, my hardcase. I guess the UA guys are drinking away.

Hello everyone. I will be in Bali arriving the evening of the 24th and departing the evening of the 26th. Would love to meet some new FTers if there are any around during that time. I will staying at the Westin. :)

Could be TSA ? I never liked EWR. Had my bags ripped into shreds and the airport manager refused to acknowledge responsibility. I gave up and claimed thru my travel insurance.

diana , a couple of us are arriving on 26th evening around 10+, but I reckon you would have left Bali by then. If your schedule is flexible, do join us for Friday dinner.

Wonder what they do to metal Rimowa bags since they can't really rip them apart... :D

Mr. Megatop and I won't arrive from BKK/SIN until Saturday evening around 7:00 pm and need to check-in and all that, so we'll miss most of the festivities but would still like to meet up with some FTers. We leave Bali on Thursday morning. Staying at the RC.

Well, as for my bag, SQ ground services still does not know where the bag is. I called the 1K desk and they said the bag made it to SQ21 the night after I left so it should be here tomorrow morning. SQ is so good in the air...just their ground services... :(

On a better note, having my bag missing caused SQ to telex CGK and have a ground staffer meet me at the door. I was late getting off the plane (last row of Raffles) and was late getting to the Visa queue. Waited there while the whole plane moved to immigration. The lines there was horrendous as apparently my SQ flight was very full due to another cancellation. But my ground services person whisked me to the Diplo/Crew queue and she waited in queue with my passport while I went to lost and found. Wow...(anyway, she told me how to do this in the future) :D
