I second that ! ^

Although I have a feeling I'll still get up at 5am, given the jetlag. :(

I wish I could, but Continental only flies on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In any case, can someone remind me about the new visa requirements? They started it right after I was there the last time.

I don't suppose anyone would like to golf would they? (not just on Sun necessarily...)

Oh as for visa, upon arrival...$10 for 3 daze and $25 for 30...bring USD as fx rates are pretty bad.

Oh one more thing...I am having a party (my bday and general house party) on Sat (21st) here in Jakarta. Will have a live DJ, margarita (margarita man will make these for the crowd) and a Bintang beer booth. Plus assorted wines and vodka. Whoever wants an invite please PM me.

If you come stay away from the pool...people with cell phones in their pockets always get pushed/thrown in...don't know why really.

You mean that colleague with bandages over his both hands after some serious twisting ??? :D ;) Apparently he is so busy with work until he forgot to confirm with SQ, and he was forced to redo his booking. Guess he will try to make it after all that is happening at work. Just waiting for him to reply here...

For those interested in Uluwatu, please raise your hand and also let me know how early you'd be willing to get started on Sunday (assuming a relatively late night on Saturday).

Also, paging the Bali regulars to the BaliDo courtesy phone... Is it possible to show up at DPS 3-4 hours before your flight to check in, then go off and do some other things around Bali (staying somewhat close to the area) and then head back to the airport for your flight? Or do they run the airport such that once you check in you're pretty much committed to staying at the airport?

Hi, I have already confirmed myself at Westin. Rate is US$120pr/pn with BF and transfers, and I get the AMEX B1G1F promo....so its only US$60 a night ! (I hope)

"Amex Card Members
Incl Bfast For 2, Return Airport Trf, Min 2Nts Stay, Pay 1 At $220 Get 1 Free, ( Rate In System Is Flatt)"

It sure is confusing....

oh well....

StarG May 18, 2005 10:12 pm

Seems like you have to pay USD220 to get the other room nite free. Just make sure you double check it with the hotel.

Jubilee777 May 18, 2005 10:44 pm

Well....I guess I will stick to this rate then...

Quick calls to Conrad and Sheraton local reservations all quote higher prices.

Haiz....

Just an fyi...I think most of us booked at the Westin are paying USD95/USD105 (garden/pool views) per night (not +/+). I"m glad you'll be staying with us at the Westin!

I would be interested. Depending on how late a nite we stay out....I can get by with 3~4 hrs of sleep. Alternatively, we could do it on Fri pm prior to the dinner.

oontiveros, thanks for the invite for your birthday bash. I'm still in Seattle though. Perhaps we can have a JKT-Do next yr? :D

My interpretation would be USD220 is for the total stay, i.e. $110 per night.

Sorry, I will not be able to make it for you Saturday party. Afraid I can't control myself over margaritas... :D
Well, go to the party and finding people using their cell would encourage pushing the guilty party into the pool. :)

I never tried it. But I don't think you can check-in at DPS four hours early and leave the secure area.
