I am glad to inform all that I managed to snag 2 tickets on SQ to Bali. My itinerary as follows

27 MAY 05 Fly SIN to DPS
SQ 148 Dep SIN 7:00 PM Arr DPS 9:30 PM Dur: 2h:30m

29 MAY 05 Fly DPS to SIN
SQ 147 Dep DPS 8:05 PM Arr SIN 10:35PM Dur: 2h:30m

Have also booked myself into the IC Jimbaran Bay for the weekend though I would like to stay a night in Ubud... Possible?

Last minute trip to Bali ... and I even find a FT DO going on at the time I'm there! :cool:

I'm arriving on May 26th on QF from DRW and staying at the Bounty hotel in Kuta. I'd love to join the dinner on the 27th.

All, I will tell the restaurants to put "Bali Do" as our group name on the reservation.

Hey hey... will dinner be over by the time I get there? I could go straight from the airport to the restaurant 1st before going to check-in...

Plus, I have changed my hotel from 2 nights at the IC Jimbaran Bay to 1st night at the Sheraton and 2nd night at the Westin. Have just made the reservation. This way I can meet my 3 night stay with starwood to get my 6,000 mile bonus from SQ!!! Yeah!!! :)

My fingers and every other thing that can be crossed are now crossed that I'll be able to make it this weekend!!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while or commented on whether or not I will make it to the dinners!

I'm in Bali right now (Internet is paaaaainfully slow! but the sun and balinese hospitality more than makes up for it :D )

I don't know whether I will be able to come to the dinners - I might be there for the one on the 27th at Ku De Ta. I will confirm before, though.

BTW - anyone leaving on SQ 143 on the 30th?

What are you doing at Sheraton when the rest of the party is at Westin? :confused:

IIRC, Sheraton slaps a resort fee, which was also one of the reasons why I chose Westin instead.
