As the title says, my arm is now broken and am waitlisted for SQ148 on 27 May 2004 and on SQ 147 returning on 29 May 2004. Will keep you guys updated... :)

How about hotels? Am thinking of the Intercon for a night, then the Westin for the other... Or maybe a nice new hotel that just opened in Ubud - can;t remember the name though....

Okay, my fingers are crossed! You're on the WL, what about jubilee? Glad my timing was so good :D (And I wasn't that rough with the arm-twisting...I hadn't even started with the big stuff... ;) )

As for hotels -- Friday night I'm at the Westin (as are at least one or two other FTers), and the most likely moving to the Sheraton for Saturday night (I currently have rooms booked at each hotel for both nights). Thursday night staying in Ubud. And shortfinals has threatened to set up camp in the lobby of the Sheraton (or was it the Westin?) for a couple weeks beforehand so he can get the best suite upgrade :D

I will cross my fingers as well. Do hope your waitlist will be cleared.
And since your arm is broken, you have more reasons to come to Bali. Perhaps Indonesian massage will fix your arm. :)

I am currently waitlisted on SQ142 on May 27 / SQ147 May 29. Don't see it happening as the award tickets must have been grabbed by the other FTers! ;)

Don't forsee myself grabbing a full fare on SQ (S$471 wif taxes) for 2082 miles... I might go for Garuda (S$280 on GA Y Class or S$550 wif taxes on GA J Class on A330).. we'll see about it.

As for hotel, I know that Westin, Sheraton, IC and Conrad is having a buy 1 get 1 night free if payment via AMEX, will confirm after getting the tixs.
