Hi everyone. i will be in town this weekend. 3/21-3/24, if anyone is interested in getting together.

COOL! I haven't seen you in a long time. I've got plans to hang out tonight in Fort Worth - low-key as in probably having dinner at La Familia and then going to The Gingerman for beers. I have already invited empedocles and many of you have already met Jodaho before, so the more the merrier if anyone else is around and wants to come hang out.

If that doesn't work, my Sunday night is free... just have to find some place that is open on Easter night!

Tonight might be difficult, since I get in around 9pm. But Sunday might work, if anyone wants to grab lunch or dinner.

What part of town are you in? I've got Easter brunch plans but could plan a dinner.

One more bump for tonight... aviationkiwi are you out there? I'm glad to plan something but just need to know what part of town you are in. Ditto DFWSkylink. The two of us who are in are in FW, but driving not an issue. Just need to know there will be takers.

I'm not going to pick for Wednesday - I'm actually waffling about doing the drive to Arlington mid-week rushhour...

Okay, so no definites for tonight other than the two who would be driving from west Fort Worth - and no area of town suggested by those who are in the maybe camp.

That sounds to me like a good reason to not venture out in the coming rain. :( I will see if empedocles is up for a beer or two at The Gingerman on Camp Bowie later and if anyone definitely thinks they could make it, you might want to check to see that we haven't turned into maybes too.

As for Wednesday, I'm going to also pass on doing the picking. It doesn't seem like anyone can muster enough enthusiasm these days for getting together and it gets old doing the legwork all the time. Sad too since we have an out of towner in our midst but unless someone else wants to take some reins or responsibility for planning, I'm out.

I'm in Frisco at the moment, will be staying by DFW later tonight. I can drive pretty much anywhere.

I'm sorry to hear that Wednesday looks like it's falling apart. I was looking forward to meeting some Texas FTers although I think I technically (pun intentional) met techgirl in DUB a couple of years ago but I don't remember* speaking to her that much - DUB was my first DO and there were quite a few FTers there.

If anyone just wants to grab a beer somewhere anytime Tues - Thurs, let me know. I'm staying in Arlington but can go either way.

* The fact that I don't remember doesn't mean we didn't speak much - it just means I don't remember - the free flowing Guinness may have had a little to do with that. ^

Okay, let's get Wednesday resurrected. I think the issue for some was the early-ish start time, and rush hour traffic. So let's try a later time, and the previously-suggested Olenjack's.

I'm afraid I'm going to be out for tonight. I had day surgery yesterday afternoon and while they told me I'd be "good to go" immediately after, I'm feeling anything but. Will probably only work a couple of hours today and then back home to Fort Worth for rest.
