Perhaps I should have clarified that 730am is not the preferred time to receive such phone calls

Sounded like y'all are having a great time!

Wish I was there!

Thumbs up Excellent dinner!!

Heya all!

Sorry to hear about the death. Deepest sympathies to MikeInSin...

Wow! This do is turning out to be one heck of a fun do! The walk in Chinatown was good. I'll remember to bring the fruit for the walk tomorrow!

Dinner was excellent! Thanks Mike! Stuffed to the brim. Drinks at the conrad was nice... Good to catch up with Jan and Carol! Enjoy your pampering tomorrow!!! (Or should I say later today!) and drinks at Harry's was brilliant! Thanks Graeme & Sean!! The only bit was almost dying when I thought my car was locked in the basement carpark!! Didn't relish the thought of having to grab a cab back on Sunday morning to pick it up!! (Thanks for the pic Debs!)

Am looking forward to tomorrow's walk! Catch you guys later!!!

Sweet Willie, we all missed you!!

Thanks Gaz,

guess two MR's to SIN back to back took its toll on me. Made the mistake of lying down (for a bit I thought) at 4pm on Sat. Woke up at 9:30, grabbed some bak ku teh(sp?) downstairs in the food court beneath my hotel (Le Meridien) and slept till 4:30am when I caught my cab to SIN.

I'm here typing at one of the free internet areas and a traveler walks up and asks the question "is anyone here from Flyertalk" It was Yogi (sp?) on his way to KL.

Very sorry to all that I missed the dinner, sounds like it was a blast of which there was no doubt that it was going to be. How did the restaurant handle the 50 FT'ers and which crabs were the best, chili or white pepper?

Willie

Sweet Willie sorry to have missed you.I would say the Black Pepper Crabs are the best and I am sure someone has a picture of why

Spiff and Sean the Pilot and all those late nighters sorry about leaving early. Can I blame it on Mrs PETEFLYS.

Great meeting you all last night and this morning.

The crabs were finger-licking great, the Tiger beers went down well and the company was the best.

Thanks to Mike for organising, traveliter for the badge and Gaz for the goodies.

Hope to meet again soon. Safe journeys everyone.

thanks mike for co-ordinating it all, my vote was for pepper crabs. see you all later, it is midday and am just getting up now. so no late drinks tonight, or we'll miss our flight tomorrow.

Another thanks to Mike for co-ordinating all that yesterday.

Great night and good to finally meet so many FT'ers in one go. Just bumped into seanthepilot in the Conrad lobby and he's trying to blame Spiff and cawhite60156 for the reason he looks under the weather .

mafbar, your friend 'J' just checked me out of the Conrad and is disappointed to hear she missed you but not surprised to hear you were taking pictures ! .

Safe journey everyone. In SKL at Changi for an hour and a half if anyone is around.

Thanks again Mike for organizing such a wonderful DO in Singapore.
Also to sailaway75 of course, for the lift and the nice goodies.
And more goodies from Kiwi Flyer.

Finally got to meet many FTers this time.
The crabs were yummy. ^

Have a safe flight back, everyone.

Thanks Kiwi Flyer! cawhite60156 told me they were a big hit last night, and I'm sorry I couldn't attend (our flight ran late and we didn't even land at SIN until after 12:30 a.m.).

It was great getting to meet those who showed up today, though. Lunch at the food centre across from the Sheraton, a terrific walking tour led by William, then an awesome time at the Night Safari!

[BTW, I've gotten the seal of approval from Randy P. to use that talk bubble design for the buttons, so hopefully I can continue to make them for future do's). ]
