I just chatted with my HS friend Maggie, who has the top Icelandic horse farm in the US in Shelbyville (between LEX and SDF). Maybe an hour drive or less from LEX
She is hosting the annual Icelandic Horse show this weekend and welcomes any of us to attend, free admission. Saturday morning is the best time I think.
Definitely worth a visit.

I just booked the 1PM Bulleit tour. I think i'll visit the icelandic horses, then get some lunch in Shelbyville, then head over to Bulleit

Planning to eat breakfast at the Hyatt around 9 then head to the horse farm in Shelbyville with a stop at Liquor Barn on the way. I currently have one extra breakfast voucher.
