I'm going to skip Stella's this morning as I'm still coughing from the flowers at Keeneland and the smoke on the patio Friday evening. I'm not eager to get caught in heavy rain at this point, although as I type this I see that the sky is looking a little brighter right now.

After breakfast, at least some of us are going to Barrel House distillery for a tour. Crank and Boom ice cream and Ethereal brewery are there also.

Things open at 11.

1200 Manchester Street, a little east of downtown.

So I guess the generic club at LEX is one of the few cases where it helps to have an actual Sky Club membership vs. credit card access. Luckily they accepted my digital UC creds and didn't bother looking at my BP.

Great seeing everyone again! Till next time...

Greetings from CVG. Another great Lex DO in the books, thanks to toomanybooks for organizing and all who attended, it was good to see old friends and a couple new faces.

Greetings also from CVG. With the heavy rain and fog at times, it was an exciting drive.

Anyone staying in the Hyatt should check the bill very carefully. They tried to bill me for two of the free waters, and when I pointed this out, the person initially only removed one of the charges. It took forever to get it corrected.

I'm back in NYC. Fun but quick weekend. Thanks again to toomanybooks for the GOH booking and the loose herding of cats as usual.

I didn't get around to doing my CVG area brewery hopping before my flight as the public bus from CVG only seems to run every 60-90 mins on Sunday and I didn't really feel like spending $50 on Ubers to/from the airport. At least the SkyClub rotated local IPAs between Friday and today ^

Thanks to all for coming. Nice to see you again or get to meet you.

I seek input on your recommendations for dates for the next LEX DO in April, should you have a preference. The weekend choices are

April 3-5
April 10-12 (Easter)
April 17-19

Thanks.

FYI they would not let me in via my BA Gold card but did accept my Amex Plat.

None of those weekend currently have Avios availablity from LGA to CVG or SDF, so I have no preference from that perspective.

Easter is best for me to be able to get there Thursday and potentially stay until Monday, but there is no race at Keeneland on Sunday so I suspect others will not want Easter.
Between the other weekend I have no real preference (except that April 17-19 theoretically has a better chance of warmer weather).

I'll have to pass on the Spring DO. I'll be in South Africa over those dates. Hopefully I'll be back soon (not waiting 4 years in between this time) and with my better half.

My thanks to everyone for making this a great get together. Always enjoy catching up with familiar faces and meeting new ones.

Special shout out to Win and his family for hosting this each time.

Looking forward to returning next year.

My April preference is the first weekend. I'll be out of the country on the other dates.
