I just booked a business meeting in CGK for Jan 16, so it looks like I can fly to SIN on the 17th for the weekend. Count me in for
the second year in a row.

OK, I'll arrive SIN Friday around 5:00 PM, so should be able to meet up for drinks in the evening.
Any idea about Sunday activities - I'm trying to decide if I should fly out to BKK Sunday or Monday?

Activities Suggestions

Anyway, I have an idea for SINDO 20.

I am sure your aware of the Jewel opening at Changi. I got to take a look around and it is quite the space. The huge waterfall and rain vortex along with the sound and light show in the forest valley was really cool to see.

The group could easily spend a day or afternoon and evening here doing the following.

1. Canopy Park: https://www.jewelchangiairport.com/e...nopy-park.html
2. Dinner at Jumbo Seafood or Din Tai Fung
3. Waterfall sound and light show https://www.jewelchangiairport.com/e...in-vortex.html
4. Changi Experience Studio (All about Changi and we could see about having a private event) https://www.jewelchangiairport.com/e...tions/ces.html
5. Drinks at Tiger Street Lab https://sethlui.com/tiger-street-lab...rew-singapore/
My nephew, with whom I will be staying is an Australian expat working in SIN. He had the following suggestions:
"Bugis Area, Kampong Glam - Haji Lane - very cool streets and big beautiful mosque, great outdoor restaurants, trendy, fun bars and unique little shops
Little India & Mustaffas…. a huge interesting shopping centre…cult favourite, wild n-crazy
Open air bus tour of the city, always good viewing on upper deck of the bus, can jump on and off all day too.
China Town but ALWAYS use Exit A and follow onto Pagoda St from inside the MRT station. Big Bhudda Tooth relic Temple, beautiful and massive!
Raffles Hotel, the Long Bar"

China town is usually especially interesting, and crowded, at the time of SIN DO because of festivities for the upcoming Chinese new year (Jan 25 in 2020)

It has been many years since I have been to the SIN DO. I am happy that I will be attending this year's event (with a +1)!

So nothing worked out I guess?

Also, it looks like Five Marbles is closed, please do a reality check on this.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week.

Okay - lili and I are going to make a quick trip up - flying on your flight,
staying at the Yacht Club hotel. Leaving Wed. morning. See you there.
