Location Drinks at Concorde Hotel, 100 Orchard Road. We'll have at least one drink there and probably move on.
I picked this place because it used to be the Le Meridien and was where drinks kicked off at prior to 2010 or so for the SIN DO

I'm in! Booked my flights on UA arriving on Thursday evening and departing Monday morning. No hotel yet.

I'm on a mixed class UA ticket from/to US.. Every long flight is in business except NRT to SIN on NH and BKK to NRT on TG are in economy I'm watching Expert Flyer for upgrades. Both flights currently have 12+ empty in bus. What are my chances?

I'll be in Langkawi with a +1 from Monday to Friday. Staying at the aloft.

Edit: I'm reconsidering the hotel choice in Langkawi. Might find something in Kuah (near, but not at, the Westin)

There is no central place. Historically a lot of people stay at either the Conrad or the Grand Hyatt.

I'll be attending SIN-Do this year after missing out last year. Plan on arriving on the 15th from BKK and heading to LGK on the 20th. Probably staying until the 23rd and then moving on. Any suggestions on where to stay in LGK???

I have now firmed up flights.
Arrive on Friday 17 January on Qantas
Staying Conrad for 2 nights.
Depart Sunday 19 January at 2:00pm to Vietnam on Vietnam Airlines

Friday night is a given any restaurant choices for Saturday night planned.
I am planning to do one of those Singapore boat trips I read about them last year and haven't done one yet so that is one thing to do on Saturday, and also go and visit gardens by the bay.

As it looks like no activity has been arranged, I wanted to throw out the following for one of the afternoons and evening.

Anyway, I have an idea for SINDO 20.

I am sure your aware of the Jewel opening at Changi. I got to take a look around and it is quite the space. The huge waterfall and rain vortex along with the sound and light show in the forest valley was really cool to see.
