Main DO in Singapore (Agenda is tentative. Please follow the thread and check latest posts before heading to any venue)

Friday Drinks 8:00 PM
Location Drinks at Concorde Hotel, 100 Orchard Road. We'll have at least one drink there and probably move on.
I picked this place because it used to be the Le Meridien and was where drinks kicked off at prior to 2010 or so for the SIN DO

I should be able to join the post do in LGK, travelling up from DPS. Good choice as LGK is also a duty free port.

I received confirmation from Brad that the post-do will be in Langkawi. I will be heading up on Monday mid morning and will leave very early on Thursday. Will be staying at the Westin.

I will post ideas for possible activities this weekend.

Brad should be posting more info shortly on main Do and such.

Am planning on staying at The Datai , just figuring out how best to fly there non Scoot / LCC

What is the best way to get to Lankawi? Suggestions? Best airline?

The only direct flights from SIN are Scoot and AirAsia. Neither are particularly great airlines, but they are fine. I will probably take AirAsia based on the flight times.
